Winters POV:
We arrived at these huge gates. Laurance was still carrying me.
"Let us in," Laurance said.
A blue haired man immediately let us in.
"What happened?" He asked.
"I saved their butts," I replied.
"Really," he replied sarcastically.
"Seriously Dante," Laurance said.
"Wow, ok let's bring her to Aphmau," said Dante. Wait Aphmau sounds familiar.
*time skip to Aphmau's house*
"Aphmau we need Zoey please open the door," Dante said. I started to become faint and then all I saw was darkness.
"Aphmau she's finally waking up," I heard a female say.
"Where am I," I said having no clue where I am.
"Do you feel ok," Aphmau asked. Then two boys came up behind her. One looked my age and the other looked to be about 5.
"Mom who is she," the older one said.
"Malachi, I don't know," she told the older boy, "Take levin upstairs," she demanded.
"Who are you?" She asked me.
"I'm winter," I said, "The reason my name is winter is because I have ice powers." I looked down remembering my sister. She had healing powers and we would always use our powers. I guess I began crying because Aphmau was hugging me.
"How old are you?" She asked.
"I'm seven," I replied and she looked shocked.
"Tell me a bit about you," she said.
I explained to her my power, my family, and everything that happened in the woods. I also told her I could be a knight here since I saved their butts earlier today.
"Ok you can be another one of my head guards and stay here," she said smiling at me. One she left I took out my diary and saw a picture of my family and started crying. I always wondered what happened to them. Then some one walked in. It was Malachi.
"Hi," he said and smiled at me.
"Hi," I said back with a warm smile.
"That girl looks just like my mom and that one looks like you," he said and I began to wonder if Aphmau was my sister.
"What happened to them?" Malachi asked.
"A man with black hair and blue eyes attacked my village making everyone forget everything my family made me invisible so he wouldn't get me and told me to run," I replied with more tears coming down my face. And then Malachi gave me a hug to comfort me. Then he told me his story and I told him about me becoming a head guard.
"Wow!" He said in shock.
"I guess I start tomorrow," I said.
