MatPat: His Little Theorist

______'s POV

"Hi I'm ______! I am 8 1/2 . I like to draw, write, sing, play piano, and play with my bunny Usa-chan." I said quietly to an elderly couple, mid 40's at least. I don't want to get adopted until I know it's the right family. The last family I had gotten adopted from, called me mean things and hit me. "Well you seem very intelligent ______." "I also dislike attention seekers who use me... Just to get the center of attention." with that the couple looked at me with opened mouths. "Um...Honey I thought you said you wanted a strong young boy?..." the lady said to her husband. "Huh..Oh! Yes! Sorry ______, we must have made a mista-" "No, ..... Your the mistake" I said with my head down. I hate how every one says I'm the 'mistake' when there the ones who use me to get attention. "______!" I tuned around to see Miss. Bossy, the orphanage caretaker, angry. "Be polite with others!" "I don't want to! Every one uses me for their own benefits! And it's not fair!" "GO TO YOUR DORM!!!" "fine." I said as I ran down the hall crying. I fell on the floor thinking 'Nobody wants me! I wish I was with my real mom and dad!' my real parents got murdered when I was 4. I went to a near corner and cried, that is until I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Hey sweetie, are you alright?", I saw a man with short brown hair and brown eyes, shook my head, telling him I was deeply hurting on the inside "Do you want to tell me what's wrong?" I shook my head again as I bursted into tears "Im sorry! did I do or say  something wrong?!" he said, I can tell he was worried. "No. It's just nobody wants to adopt me, for me. They only adopt me for attention." I said as I tightly held on to my bunny Usa-chan more tears streaming down my face. "Hm. Im Matthew but you can call me MatPat if you want.It's what my friends call me." "MatPat?" "Yeah" I started giggling "that's a funny nick name." "yeah I guess it's kinda silly huh?" He helped me up "I'm ______" "Hello ______" 

MatPat's POV

Stephanie and I have been trying to get a child. So far we haven't succeeded. So today I thought I'd stop by the orphanage today. I'm actually quite nervous but happy at the same time. I'm nervous because what if they're kids who don't like me. Happy because I'll get a little theorist running in the yard in the summer, help me and Stephanie know what it's like to be parents. I pull up into the parking lot getting one last look before I go in. 'I wish Stephanie was here' I thought. Stephanie said it would give me and the kid more time to bond if I went by myself.

Im going to skip the checking in part because it's to long, for what I wrote in my book anyways :l

I was walking down a hall before I saw a girl in the hall in the corner, crying. 'What do I do?!' I thought 'you can't just leave her' I was getting getting closer to her "Hey sweetie, are you alright?" she shook her head no. "Do you want to tell me whats's wrong?" she shook her head again. I can tell that she's very shy and independent with no one to rely on. Then she started to cry even harder. 'now you've done it Mat!'  "I'm sorry! Did I do or say something wrong?!" I was freaking out "No. It's just nobody wants to adopt me, for me. They only adopt me for attention." when she said that anger hit me. Not at her but at those attention seekers who use her. She cried even more when she said that. The only thing I knew that would cheer her up would probably be my nick name. "Hm. I'm Matthew but you can call me MatPat if you want. It's what my friends call me" "MatPat?" "Yeah" she started to laugh. "that's a funny nick name." "yeah I guess it's kinda silly huh?" I helped her up off the floor "I'm______." "Hello ______." 

3rd persons POV

"So ______, do you talk much?" MatPat asked trying to start a conversation "Oh.No." "Why?" "Well it's just that-" tears filled  _____'s eyes "The last family that adopted me, they called me mean things and they would hit me if I didn't do anything right." Pain struck MatPat's warm heart. "I'm so sorry ______." "It's alright i'm use to getting through stuff like that." she said as a tear fell down her left cheek "Use to? what do you mean?" "Well a lot of girls think there's something wrong with me because I don't want to get adopted, so the older girls tease and pick on me." "Why don't you want to be adopted?" "I'm just affraid that no one really loves and cares about me." "If i adopted you, you wouldn't feel like that any more." MatPat looked into   ______'s eyes and knew that she was the lucky girl MatPat gets to have as a daughter.

 ______ and MatPat did all sorts of things before he had to go talk to the caretaker.   _____ showed him her drawings of flowers, dreams, fantasies, and a drawing of her dream family. They went out to the orphanage play ground, MatPat was swinging ______ on the swing, than ______ was pushing MatPat on the marry-go-round.They were, what a kid would call playing, like tag and hide and go seek. ______ thought MatPat was treating her like a daughter and she liked it. For once ______ felt like someone cared about her.

"Hello Mr. Patrick, it's a pleasure to have you here. Please sit down." "Thank you Miss Bossy." "We have a variety of children for you to choose from" "Um.. I actually was wondering  if I could adopt ______?" "______? Why would you want to adopt her?" Miss Bossy said with disgust. MatPat could tell and he didn't like it. "Why wouldn't I?" "Are you sure Mr. Patrick? We have other kids here-" "No. I would like to adopt ______ please." Miss Bossy hesitated to go get the adoption forms. Meanwhile MatPat was wondering what came over him.

MatPat's POV

'I don't care what this orphanage thinks of ______. I think of her as my own daughter already.'

3rd persons POV

"Sign this while I go get ______." Miss Bossy practically threw the papers at MatPat. "Thank you!" he said trying to lighten up the mood but he missed just as she closed the door.

Miss Bossy went to tell ______ about the adoption. ______ and MatPat had already talked about adopting ______, and she was fine with it. "______ pack up your things your-" Miss Bossy saw most of ______'s things gone. Her posters, drawings, pictures of her and her best friend ______, and all the rest of her things. Miss Bossy went out to the hall and saw ______ with her things waiting for MatPat. "HOW DARE YOU DISOBEY ME!!!" Miss Bossy raised her hand going for a slap until, MatPat caught her hand. "I don't ever,... want you touching my daughter like that again." he said with a glare. "Unhand me this instant!" "Not until you stop abusing these poor innocent little children!" everyone heard. 

Police came took Miss Bossy and you were set to go

"You ready ______?" "yes, daddy" Mat and ______ drove to ______'s new home. ______ couldn't be more happier. She had a mom, a dad, she even got to meet Smike, Dawko,Markiplier, Natewantstobattle, Ryan and other Ryan and other youtubers. Her and CatPat snuggle when goes to bed. ______ had the life she dreamed of.
