His tight grip on the masked man's neck was suffocating. The Vicious man was also masked. "Where is he??" Exclaimed the one who seemed to be in control. Struggling to be freed, the man simply replied, "No one can find him!" He became Angry. The covered hand that held the helpless man off of his feet began slowly entering the neck of the small masked man. He could feel the silk fingers from the mans gloves forcing their way into his neck. He screamed loudly, but what would it do? He was in the middle of a forest. Not to mention, at this point the man had already crushed the bones in his neck as he held his body up by his spinel cord.
"If you don't focus at all, all things become impossible. So focus Soga. Focus on everything around you. Become one with everything."
Never would he forget the day that his uncle said that. Soga, a strong man with a long future he could never have dreamt of. This is the story of a man seeking to become the best that he possibly can be. But what he doesn't know is the danger that lurks along the way.
"If you don't focus at all your mind becomes a target. In battle you will not break your concentration. You will remember your next step in strategy. So you will not be defeated."
Soga's uncle who was a master of the mind, teaches Soga to tap into and unlock the abilities that lay deep inside of him. His balance was perfect, Soga stood on a tree with a smile stained on his face. His uncle, Maric had his focus upon Soga. His eyes were sealed shut, and his stance was stiff. With his head tilted downward towards the ground, Soga bent his legs preparing for a back flip off of the tree where he would then be hidden in the forest right behind him. He jumped into the air. But halfway through his back flip when Maric's eyes shot open. Soga could feel his concentrated energy from the distance. Maric didn't move one inch but as soon as Soga's feet hit the grass floor, He began to run into the forest.
Finally coming to a stop, Soga stood in an area where the trees made an open space. It was a huge area of dirt and growing grass. Soga's blue eyes glanced at the full moon before him. His eyes shut closed. He could hear everything around himself, the wind, to the crickets. "Come on out." Soga's voice was deep, but not to deep. The moonlight stretched to Soga's area. You could see the separated area from the darkness to the circle of moon light that surrounded him. Maric stepped out of the shadows, a sword on his back with throwing knives on his sides. His footsteps crunching the fallen leaves below. Soga's eyes focused upon him. "I will not go easy on you Soga. If you are not prepared to harm me, I will kill you." His statement came to an end. However he noticed Soga was gone. As if he had disappeared. A brief smile came onto Maric's face as his head dropped slowly. His eyes closed.
A dagger flying through the air almost penetrating Maric was dodged with ease. He could see Soga standing in a shady area not to far away from him. Maric jumped at Soga like a sweeping tiger. His knife he grabbed from his holster tied onto his right side was sharper then the deadliest blade in the planet which was made from the stone Monto. He attempted to cut Soga but only missed by so little a centimeter deep wound appeared. Not the Soga would notice it. The cut was harmless. With his speed, Soga could move so fast, it was inhuman. Not at the speed of light, not even close, but with the blink of an eyes, Soga appeared behind Maric with his blade on to Maric's neck. But this blade was one of a kind. Made from titanium, blessed by the highest ranked priests. This blade was nearly 200 years old. And to destroy it, one would literally have to be from the heavens. This blade was given the name Blessed Angel when created and past down from generations. Soga griped Maric's arm as tight as he could, almost crushing the bone. Soga felt victorious and a smile came onto his face. His crystal Blue eyes shined brightly. But oddly enough not a sound came from Marics mouth nor did he move. Soga blinked and noticed how he has been holding a tree the entire time.
(This was the result of an illusionary spell casted by Maric. Purple Magic to be exact. The art of illusion and trickery.)
