"Uhhrrruu..wha...?" A tiny human struggled to get up. "W-where am I?" She asked herself. Though being badly injured, her legs managed to help her up. "Frisk...pull yourself together!" She told herself. She spotted a door up ahead, and walked to it. When she went through, a tiny flower met her there. It had a scared look on its face. Before Frisk could introduce herself, the flower blurted out, "In this world, it's either kill or be killed. I-I can't take it anymore!" Frisk kneeled down to the frightened flower. She patted it. "Shh it's okay, everything's alright." She said soothingly. The flower wiped his tear with a petal, feeling a bit better. "I'm sorry you had to see that....hello. My names Flowey. Flowey the flower."
Frisk introduced herself and sighed. "So about what you said..." He shivered. "It's either kill or be killed." Flowey replied. "Everyone...EVERYTHING down here in the underground would slaughter and kill if they had the chance to...." Frisk picked the flower up, careful not to hurt him. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you, and will make sure you'll be alright. I will bring you with me to the surface! When I get there, I mean." The flower looked up, eyes shining. "Really? W-wow! No one has ever treated me like this before..." Frisk smiled and started walking to the next door. Flowey happily slithered on her shoulder and held on to Frisk with his vines.
When Frisk went through the next door, she had accidentally bumped into something. "Ow!" A menacing voice made her jump. Frisk got up and stumbled over to what seemed like a goat...in a shredded black dress. "O-oh I'm sorry! Let me help you up-"
"I don't need your help or pity!" The goat snarled. When she got up, she glared at Frisk. "Are you a...human?" She asked, mystified. Flowey looked scarily up at Frisk. "Frisk this isn't good. Run!" The human ignored Flowey and nodded. "Shh...don't be rude." She whispered to him. Flowey crumpled down and looked up at the goat.
The goat nodded, smirking. "I see....hello my child. I am Toriel, Caretaker of the Ruins. What brought you down to the underground?" She asked casually, eyeing her. "I accidentally fell down this huge hole, and now I'm here." Frisk said. Toriel nodded slowly. "I see..." She looked down at Flowey and cringed. "Where did you get...that?" She asked. Frisk pointed to the door she had just came through. "Over there...he said in this world it's either kill or be killed. So I felt bad and I'm gonna bring him with me. We're gonna try to find a way out of the underground." Frisk replied. "Smart flower..." Toriel said. "So you said you wanted to leave the underground, right? So to do that, you must leave the ruins and try to get past all of the monsters that are up ahead...alive...." Frisk looked up at her, a bit frightened. "Oh don't worry, little one, I won't let you die." Toriel said. Flowey lifted up and whispered in Frisk's ear, "Don't believe her...I think she's trying to trick you..." He said. Frisk nodded. "We'll see..."
The goat led Frisk to a tiny house. "You will stay with me for a little while, until you are ready to leave the Ruins."
Frisk looked up at her, happily. "Thank you, Toriel!" Frisk hugged her. Toriel pushed her back, a bit uncomfortable. "Uhhh...of course my child...now come." She led Frisk inside the house and stopped. "Please, make yourself comfortable." Frisk padded around the house, Flowey on her shoulders, shivering. "I still don't like this..." He said.
