Chapter 4

Masky POV:
I got everything Rain wanted for her room while getting weird looks but I didn't care. I run home and with the help of Jeff took everything inside and set it up in Rain's room "T-Thanks Jeff" I say and he just looks at me and chuckles "You like her don't you?" I just stare at him in awe. "U-Uh N-N-No" I say stuttering more than usual. Jeff laughs "Masky's got a crush Masky's got a crush" Jeff says in a singing tone. I punch him and he shouts "Ow!" I laugh and Jeff flips me off. "You know what Jeff, yeah I do kind of like her but you keep your little carved mouth shut" I say trying to sound threatening and Jeff nods "Yes master" mocking me and I growl and he chuckles. I go down the stairs to see Rain playing dolls with Sally and Jane, I couldn't help but giggle and Rain turns around "Oh, hey Masky" she says getting up putting a doll down "Just playing with Sally and Jane, didn't even notice you come in" She walks over towards me "You finish my room?" I nod and take her hand and lead her up to the bedroom we run into Jeff. "Oh, well well well look it hear, the two love birds are holding hands" Jeff says chuckling. I growl "Jeff, leave" I say trying to sound stern. He just laughs and look at Rain, who is surprisingly still holding my hand. "What's your name sweetheart?" Rain smiles "I'm Rain, the new proxy" Jeff nods "Well, Rain, this little boy here, little Masky, likes you" I growl at Jeff. Jeff runs away laughing I was about to go after him pulling out my knife but something held me back, I look to see that Rain was holding my hand so I couldn't move, something was different with her though, her face, it was a light pink. I then realized, she was blushing because Jeff told her that I like her. I smiled, even though she couldn't see it. "Don't, do you really want bled shed right before I turn into my new form?" Rain asks and I shake my head. I continue to lead her to her room. I open the door and she gasps and let's go of my hand and runs, jumping on her bed. "I love it!" she squealed and I chuckled. "Thank you so much Masky!" She scream running up and hugging me. I tense but then hug her. "Y-Your welcome R- Rain" she looks up at me and I think she was trying to look into my eyes. "Masky" I look down at her "Y-Yeah R-Rain?" she smiles and runs her fingers across the bottom of my mask and I started to panic so I pushed her, hard, she went flying against the wall. She cried out in pain and I started to shake. "R-Rain I'm..." she cut me off "Leave! Leave Masky!" She screams and she started to cry. I tried to go up to her but she screamed at me again "Leave!" I look down and run out the door and down the stairs. Everyone was staring at me. I started to cry and ran out the front door into the woods. I kept running and running deeper and deeper until I finally reached a stream. I dropped down next to it and started to cry. I screwed up big time. "Masky?" A familiar voice says but I just kept crying looking down into the stream. Hoody puts his hand on my shoulder "Masky, what happened" I just shook my head. Hoody knelt down next to me "Masky, please tell me" I look up at him. "I-I-I hurt her, I h-h- hurt her Hoody!" I say shaking. Hoody sighs "How? Who?" I shake my head "I-I-I hurt R-R-Rain. I-I pushed h-her. Sh-She tried to l-lift my mask" Hoody looks down. "It's okay Masky, come on lets go home" I shake my head "No, sh-she will never forgive m-me" Hoody shakes his head "She will, come on" I let out a shaky sigh and Hoody helps me up and we walk back to the mansion.
