The Return

Leo's P.O.V.

"ARE WE ALMOST THERE?!" Calypso shouted over the wind.

"YES! WE SHOULD BE THERE IN AN HOUR OR TWO!" I shouted back. Only an hour. Then I'd be there. Home. My first real home in a long time. Camp Half-Blood. I felt Calypso slump over onto my back. She deserved some sleep. I sat on Festus thinking about things. Would Hades be after me? Do my friends think I'm dead? Will I still be the seventh wheel? Then the worst thought, are they really my friends, or something they use when they need something done. I started thinking into my past. Remembering how I always felt that I killed my mom and it was my fault. Remembering that the cops are constantly looking for me. Remembering what I started when I was 12 and what I almost did multiple times since I was 14.

"Leo, are we there yet?" Calypso's angelic voice snapped me to reality. The wind had died down so we didn't have to shout.

"We should be there in a couple minutes, sunshine. How'd you sleep?" I asked, trying to forget about the thoughts I had went over.

"Good. I can't wait to meet your friends." I smiled.

"Well, I can't wait for you to meet them too." I said. "There's Piper, daughter of Aphrodite. Jason, son of Jupiter and Piper's boyfriend. Hazel, daughter of Pluto. Frank, son of Mars and Hazel's boyfriend. Then there's Annabeth, daughter of Athena, and Percy, son of Poseidon and Annabeth's boyfriend." She stiffened up when I said Percy. "Oh, I forgot you already know Percy."

"Ya."

"Don't worry. It all worked out. You got me and trust me, Percy and Annabeth are meant to be together. He went to Tartarus for her."

"WHAT?!" She screamed. "They went to Tartarus!"

"Ya. Why, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing, it's just... no one has ever survived Tartarus."

"Ya. They're strong, good people." I heard swords clashing and looked down at Camp Half-Blood. "There it is." She gasped.

"It's beautiful!"

"I know, right? Let's get this party started." I landed right next to the dining pavilion causing a couple screams. I got off Festus then grabbed Calypso's waist and lifted her down. She smiled at me and gave me a quick kiss on the lips. I smiled back. The seven were standing together, freaking out. I grabbed Calypso's hand and led her to them. "Calypso, this is Annabeth, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Jason, and you already know Percy." I pointed to them as I said their names. Then someone punched me in the face. I looked at Piper. "Was that necessary?"

"Yup. Now, WHERE WERE YOU VALDEZ! Do you even KNOW how WORRIED we were?!" I held my hands up in surrender and she pulled me into a bear hug. Hazel kicked me in the groin and hugged me, Jason gave me a bear hug worse then Piper's then electrocuted me, Annabeth hugged me then judo flipped me, Percy gave me a hug and punched me in the jaw, and Frank punched me in the gut and gave me a hug, all muttering how stupid I am.

"Well guys, this is Calypso." I said, putting my arm around her. She blushed and Piper squealed.

"I THOUGHT OF THE PERFECT SHIP NAME!!!!!!!!! CALEOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Everyone looked at her.

"Pipes, your Aphrodite's showing." She blushed and calmed down. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to............... get punched in the face again. "C'MON!" I looked at my half sister Nyssa. "You broke my nose." I couldn't pronounce my m's right so I sounded like an alien.

"What were you THINKING! DIDN'T YOU KNOW YOU COULD DIE FROM THAT EXPLOSION?!" She screamed and oh my gods... she's CRYING?! Nyssa never and I mean never cry's.

"Of course I knew I'd probably die. I'd rather have me die then hundreds of people die." The seven, Nyssa, Jake (my half brother), and Calypso all looked at me with... was that care? "What?"

"You stupid, loyal, son of a gorgon!" Piper screamed. "You knew you'd die but you did it anyway." I nodded.

"So? I couldn't have let any of you guys die." I was pulled into a hug consisting a lot of sobbing girls. The rest of the day we spent catching up. At the end of the day, as I lay in my bed, one thought crossed my mind. I was wrong about the seven thinking I'm a tool, or was I.
