The most optimistic person you'll ever see
cries herself to sleep every night
in hopes of
dreaming about her beloved.
And late at night,
after so many tries and tries,
she finally does.
And when she does,
after so many sleepless nights,
she wakes up.
Right after she hears his voice,
echoing its way through her mind,
pumping through her blood,
filling her heart up,
with uncontrollable lust.
The most optimistic person you'll ever see,
she wakes up every day with a smile,
convincing herself that she'll see him this time,
in her dreams;
the only possible place to meet.
One day she'll have the confidence to look him in the eye
and realize that her research is over,
her missing part was found.
But one day is a day too far,
and her confidence shall not be regained,
so she holds in a deep breath in her lungs,
and a prayer in her heart,
and decides to go back to sleep.
