**Autumn's POV**
Dreams. Confusing little mother fuckers. They can be your best friend and worst enemy.
I got up and got dressed. I can already tell this day is going to suck.
"Good morning Aj!" My mom eagerly said. (See my mom named me Autumn Jade Rose but my dad didn't like it so he called me Aj and the name stuck.)
"Hey mom, Do I have to go to school? I'm gonna hate it." I said back
"Yes you have too now go young platypus." My mom said.
I slammed the door and left for school.
**Hazel-eyed kid's POV**
I saw her last night in a dream. It's been three years since she...... Died.
There i said it. Three painful years.
I haven't been able to live with myself since.
It was my fault she died. And now I can't live with myself.
She was gorgeous. Just outright flawless. The moment she walked into the room, everyone stared. Guys flirted and flirted with her but she didn't pay attention. I could read the guys minds, one of the few perks that came with the 'gift' as the elders called it. The guys only wanted (in their words) "to tap that hot ass".
Now because of me, she's dead. All her beauty wasted because of my foolish mistake.
Finally through all my nonsense thinking I got to school. I need to stop thinking about her. The elders said I'd forget about her in a month.
They were so fucking wrong.
Sure I've had flings. I'm fucking immortal now for peace sake. I'm a dude I have needs. But this was different.
She was different.
I actually loved her.
