As I wake up the next day I notice the bathroom door is unlocked and that I had a text message.
[You won't be able to keep me out from seeing you at night my sleeping beauty.]
I grab all my stuff and go to my room. I change quickly and run downstairs.
"Kayla, your brother brought your stuff downstairs for you already and packed your lunch!" My mom shouts at me.
"Thanks for telling me." I say as I'm walking out the door. I always walk to school in the mornings to avoid waking up early for a bus.
"Hey! Kayla!" Says my neighbor," Did you hear about what happened to Samantha?"
"No, I haven't heard from her. What happened?!"
"Someone crashed her last night when she was going to pick up her sister from the library."
"Is she ok?"
"Yes, I hope so."
I look down to my phone and notice another message.
[You say anything about me and you may end up like Samantha or worse.]
Ikeep walking until I reach the school. As I walk in Zack passes me.
"Hey." Said Zack.
"Hey?" I answered.
"I wanted to talk to you about something that I've noticed."
"What is it?"
"It's kinda private. I need to tell you in someplace safe."
"In my house? Or in class?"
"No. I know those places aren't safe. Let me take you somewhere."
"Sure." We walk quietly until I see a huge tree.
"You first Kayla."
"Up there? You're crazy."
"I need to tell you here so it's easier." I climb the tree and then he climbs.
"I've been noticing someone has been following you and that they've been leaving you notes. You don't have to admit it, but I wanted you to know I'm here to help you anytime you need it."
"Thanks." I see how blue his eyes are and how amazing his hair is."We should go to class Zack."
