"I'm Alright"

Earlier that week:

"How can you say that to me?!" Angel screamed.

"I dont know." Mike faintly said.

"How could this happen to me?! I thought he was perfect my destined soulmate... My mistake." Angel muttered softly.

Mike stuttered "I'm... I'm sorry Angel, I'm sorry."

"Yeah right" Angel said sassily, and turned her back on Mike.

"I AM!" Mike exclaimed.

Angel turned around in surprised to see Mike starting to cry, he never cried.

"Then why did you break my heart and stomp on it?! Why?" Angel was starting to cry.

"I felt no connection then waited a week to see if it would come back... I love you but..." Mike trailed off.

"But what??" That pissed off Angel.

"I didn't know how beautiful you are.." Mike was realizing his mistake.

Angel stared are him with deep blue, sorrow filled eyes.

Today's my birthday and Mike hasn't texted me or called me today.. Happy birthday to me...

Angel goes outside to relax.

"Mike?!" Angel exclaims.

"Hey um I thought I'd say happy birthday in person, since your turning 16." Mike said timidly.

"Uh thanks" Angel was in mild shock that the guy who she fell in love with, then broke her heart in countless pieces, was here wishing her a happy birthday..

"Why did you come here? After what happened..?" Angel was remembering the fight.

"You weren't responding to my texts.." Mike cautiously said.

"Oh.. Sorry.." Angel avoided eye contact.

Mike raised Angel's head gently with his hand. "And I'm sorry for causing you so much pain then.."

Angel tears up, Mike looks at her in sorrow and hugs her.
