Spinning and falling, with pilots trying not to hit the other helicopters. As we turn upside down, Ryder and another soldier Jax, fall toward me. I was only able to catch Ryder as Jax fell into the main propellers, shredded. I pull Ryder back in and he helps me in. We have to get out before we crash, I look at Ryder, "We have to jump onto a roof, this one here, but we have to time it." I study a couple times around, "Jump!" I jump, and Ryder hesitates. He jumps the next spin, I land on the roof, but Ryder barely makes it with a foot to spare of the ledge. The flying Black Bird has crashed. I get Ryder to his feet, "We have to see if the pilots are alive." We make our way down the four story building, as we exit, rescue teams have already arrived. "We got it from here with the pilots, now go head to your captain." We salute and find Captain Green. "Where's Jax?" Green asks. Ryder jumps in and says, "Mason was only able to save one of us, and Jax was out of reach, he is on us. He was shredded by the propellers, I'm sorry." Green answers, "Its no worries, at least it wasn't the both of you."

Green directs us to the rest of our team and get in formation to the line of fire. "I'm sorry Green, that we couldn't save Jax, that is." Green doesn't answer. I check my AN-94 to make sure its loaded. We dive into the battle field with a mortar exploding behind us, "Damn, that was to close of a miss." I say getting back to my feet, pulling my AN-94 out, and  I advance.  Ending the lives of 14 enemies, I back into a ally and flank through. I climb up to the third floor of a hotel. Sights up, I walk into a room and catch an enemy sniper, I pull out my fiber wire and run to him. I get my wire around his neck and throw myself back onto the ground. Pulling on the wire, I here his neck snap, breathed, I stay down. "Damn, been a while." I say to myself. I catch my breath and get up and signal my team sniper down. I clear the roof and as soon as I walk back down, I was clipped at the stairs. Hit with the butt of an AK, I staggered back and pulled out my knife as my AN was taken on daze. The danger in front of me pulls his knife out, he's a bulky guy, stand at least 6' 8". I charge at him and he just lifts me with one arm, and tosses me like a ragdoll 12 feet. "Damn."

I stand up and taunt him, he comes at me and when he's about 3 feet away, I drop in push up stance. He trips over me and I spin over and grab his feet and pull him. He kicks me off and Green comes behind him and beats him with his gun, unfazed this monster turns around. I cant move and Green trips back. At the edge of the roof, the monster of a man takes one blow to Green's neck. Blood on the face of the man who killed my Captain, "Your dead." I force my self up and sprint towards the grinning beast. I jump in mid air, dolphin diving, and grab the monsters mid torso and we both go falling of the roof. Without hesitation I grab the fire escape railing and hold for dear life. The beast drops. I pull my self up and get to the roof. Green lays there with blood spewing out of his mouth, neck flattened, dead. As the battle still exists down stairs, I cover green in his jacket and set a pick up flare, say my goodbyes and leave. I catch up with Ryder, "Where's Cap?" I just look and shake, he is emotionless. Green was the best Captain we knew, he was like our  brother, always at the bars with Ryder and I. Now he's gone.

As this little sliver of war ends, we regroup and base. As we come up in a Jeep, we are introduced to our new Captain, "I am Captain Dan, Welcome to Hell." Ryder and I laugh, Dan just grins, "I don't play games, so straighten up. Green died because he didn't push you. For that you were weak to save him" Ryder looks mad and jumps at Dan, just about there Dan raises his arms and catches him and throws him on the hood of the Jeep. Ryder slides on the ground, out. Dan smiles, "Now we begin."
