"Dean! Dean!" My friend Luke shouted as he ran towards me, ignoring the stares from the other students.

"What's up?" I laughed as he came to a sudden halt in front of me, desperately trying to catch his breath.

"Beth agreed to go on a date with me!" He said, gasping for air.

I smiled.
Luke had had a huge crush on Beth ever since he was 11. And now, 3 years later, he'd finally worked up the courage to ask her out. But something told me that it wasn't that simple.

"That's great!" I said happily.

He glanced at the people around us before leaning closer to me.

"I need to ask you a favour..." He whispered.

"Go for it."

He shook his head.

"Here probably isn't the best place, come on." He said, grabbing my arm and leading me down the corridor.

We stopped outside the door to the library, nobody was around.

He nervously glanced down the corridor before pushing the door open and pulling me inside.

The library was completely empty, apart from the 80 year old librarian who glared at us as we walked in.

"Can I help you?" She hissed, startling Luke.

"No thanks, we're just browsing." I smiled at her.

She rolled her eyes, focusing her attention on the book in her hand.

Me and Luke made our way through the maze of bookshelves before eventually stopping when we were sure that the librarian wouldn't hear us.

"What do you need?" I whispered.

"You know how Beth agreed to go on a date with me..." He said innocently.

"Yeah..."

"Well, she only agreed to if I could set her friend up with someone..."

I sighed.

"Luke, I told you this before, I'm just not really the dating kind of person."

"Please? It's just one date."

I rolled my eyes.

"Who is it?"

"I don't know, she wouldn't say."

I stared at him, his eyes full of hope.

"Fine." I agreed reluctantly.

He smiled, hugging me.

"Thanks Dean."

I hugged him back.

"Listen, I have to go but I'll see you later okay?" He said, pulling away.

I nodded.

He gave me a smile before turning around and running down the corridor of books.

I wandered around the library for a while, looking through the books before I heard something that made me freeze...

"Well well well... Looks like we've found the fag." A voice growled from behind me.

I spun around to see Alex, the biggest douchebag known to mankind. His gang of friends were standing behind him, laughing.

"What do you say we teach him a lesson?" He smirked, walking towards me.
