Breeze pov
I was running toward Jay's camp, well back up I don't run technically I use the winds to push me so fast that I'm just a blur I call it morphing. So back to the story, I was running towards Jay'a camp when I heard growling and it wasn't coming from my stomach. I quickly scanned the perimeter when out of the corner of my eye I saw a hellhound. That wasn't what really had me dumbfounded it was who it was attacking.
"Steven?"
He looked the same he did all those years ago. Same tan, same wind blown blonde hair, same blue eyes, and same white smile. We are just friends now but every time I see him I my heart does a little pitter patter, but then I remember that one time. The time I saw him, the time I saw him... he broke my heart.
~Flashback two years ago~
I was sitting in the clearing of a forest somewhere in Cleveland trying to focus my powers when Steven, my boyfriend, came out of nowhere.
"Hey Steven!"
He looked shocked at first then I saw he wasn't alone. There was a girl trailing behind him. She had blonde hair gold eyes and was pale the exact opposite of me. She smirked at me then kissed Steven. He wasn't kissing back, but he wasn't pushing her away ether.
"You, you despicable insignificant-"
Then I just ran away not waiting to hear whatever explanation he would have to give.
~ End of Flashback ~
There he was standing before me. Go figure, out of all the people I could have met that just happened to be the one trying to get back together. And the one being attacked by a hellhound it had to be him. Just great.
'Argh? Woof-woof-woof!"
"What the," I said as I was jumped on by a flash of black and brown. It was a terrifying creature at a stagnating height of half a foot. It was my puppy, my dachshund Swift. So he was with Steven all that time.
A few words to express Swift before you fully meet him. He isn't just a dog he possesses some powers. For instance he can walk on air and morph like me, but that's about it. He was and still is my best friend I've had him for four thousand years.
Before you ask no I'm not a goddess then again I never really described myself. I have golden brown hair always in a side braid, silvery eyes, and tannish skin. I am a wind, well duh my father is Aleous, but there are four winds; winter, summer, fall, and spring. My wind is winter. The reason I've lived so long is because I get reincarnated along with all the four winds and my dog.
And guess what it gets better, Steven just happens to be a wind too the summer wind and well we just happen to be a couple every time we are reincarnated. Except this time, because before he didn't cheat on me that-.
"Hey, Breeze long time no see," said Steven interrupting my thoughts, "Where have you been Swift wouldn't stop whimpering and waiting for you to come back. Also Breeze I need to talk to you. You see I-"
"Before you say anything I got to go to camp half-blood to talk to Chiron. Wanna tag along."
"Like a date?"
"Ha you wish, Andrew (Spring) and Drake (Fall) are coming too. I'm meeting them at Jay's."
"Awesome! You know that's along way to travel. Just the two of us."
"Don't get your hopes up to high, Ocean Gust."
"Whatever you say, Winter Chill."
