-Amy-
We had just arrived at the beach. As soon as I opened the door the cold air hit my face. I waited for Dean and then we walked onto the beach. It was a cold and breezy day. The beach was completely stranded, all there was too hear was the waves crashing against the sand. I looked over at Dean and he was taking in the peaceful scenery. Dean's gaze met mine and I smiled at him.

"It's so peaceful" I said.

"Yeah it's so nice to come here and just think" he said and I smiled.

I started walking closer to the sea. I was standing right next to the sea, but I was far enough away that my shoes weren't getting wet. Dean pretended to push me in and I glared at him. Dean had a huge grin on his face, making me smile.

"Do you ever wonder about if things happened differently?" Dean asked me with a more serious look on his face.

"No" I said.

"Like what if I never liked singing, or if I never auditioned to be in hometown" he said "I would have never met the lads or you"

I looked at him and he was starring straight ahead.

"Maybe I wouldn't have ditched my leaving cert exams" I laughed slightly at myself.

"You didn't finish school?" He asked and I nodded.

"I was hanging out with the wrong crowd" I said quietly.

"What did you do?" He asked.

"While I was supposed to be doing my exams, I was drinking and smoking outside the school walls with these two guys and a girl" I sighed.

I remember that day, the day I skipped my exams. My parents where furious with me. They had gotten a call from the principal, the science teacher saw us outside. It's a day I'll remember for the rest of my life.

"Hey we all make mistakes" Dean said putting his hand on my shoulder.

I smiled weakly at him and he grabbed my hand. We walked back to the car without saying a word. I sat into the car and sighed.

"I'm sorry" Dean said "for bring up the whole school thing"

"It's fine really, it happened years ago" I said.

Dean drove us back the the lads house. We walked into the house and the lads where sitting in the sitting room.

"Yo what's up?" Dayl asked.

"Nothing much" Dean said as I plopped myself down on the couch.

"How was the beach?" Cian asked.

"It was very peaceful" Dean said looking at me.

"Yeah it was really nice" I said.

I stood up and left the room.
