Chapter 8

KAYLA'S POV

Ray told me about what happened with Ashely. It's kinda scary, but I'm mad at Ray for saying all those things to Ashely, I know I didn't say anything but I was too shocked. It was like part of my heart was broken. I haven't talked to Ray but he leaves voicemails and texts.

I decided to pull myself up and go check on Ash, hoping she doesn't choke me. I love having the fact that I'm 2 doors down. I unlocked their door, yes I had a key I'm her best friend of course I would.

Ray was in the kitchen making pasta.

"Hey Ray" I said quietly

Ray looked at me and his eyes widened.

"Kayla! I'm am soo sorry! I love you I never meant to call Ashley-"

I interrupted him by kissing him.

"Ray is ok now just tell me where Ashely is" I chuckled

"She's in her room"

I walked to Ashely's room. I thought her eyes would turn red on me but they didn't.

"Hey Ash" I smiled

"Hey Makayla"

"I heard about what happened"

"So now you think I'm a freak?!"

"No of course no! God no! I came to see if your alright!" I managed to get out

Ashely calmed down a little.

"Oh ok"

I went to sit next to her and I noticed she was crying I told her to get dressed cuz were going to the mall.

ASHELY'S POV

I smiled at the thought of the mall. At least let me try to be a normal teen girl now.

I went to go take a shower. When I stepped out I put on a pink one shoulder crop shirt that had Bad Bitch and some light blue skinny jeans and white flats. I straightened my hair and add curls and the bottom

I noticed what Kayla was wearing at black Michael Jackson shirt and yoga pants and teens shoes.

"Uh no booboo, I know we is depressed but we not going out like this!" I chuckled and so did she.

I gave her a yellow shirt that had Minnie Mouse on it and black skinny jeans, and white shoes.
