High school. Or as some people call it "Hell for the living." It's a complete and utter terror for both the adults and the students. Honestly, it's as if parents send their teens to high school in order to punish us for all of our misbehaving.

It's particularly hard for people like me, meaning they're not popular, but they're siblings are. Yep! You guessed it. Ethan and Hudson are both very popular at school. They once tried to get me into their clique, but it didn't work out. It wasn't totally bad though, I managed to make one friend Sierra. We met in 2d grade when a bully had stolen my lunch money and she got it back for me. Ever since then we've been friends constantly balancing each other out.

Monday morning. One of my favorite and least favorite days of the week. On mondays our maid,Carrie, didn't come in the morning. Which was great for me because that meant I got to make breakfast, which allows me to ensure that I get to cook something, anything at least once a week. If you haven't guessed by now, I'm kind of a baking nut. I really love baking, especially in our kitchen. Our kitchen is basically a bakers heaven. We have two deluxe double ovens, a fire stone oven, 2 professional grade microwaves, a huge island, and granite counter tops that stretched on for miles. In short our kitchen was basically a bakers heaven, and I loved to cook in it.

Today I decided to make eggs, bacon, and cinnamon rolls. The dish had something for everyone. Ethan and Hudson, my brothers, loved the bacon. My parents loved the eggs, and I loved the cinnamon rolls. I could eat them for...well forever. It's my weakness. I'd do almost anything for a cinnamon roll, so waking up to a freshly baked cinnamon roll on monday morning is amazing.

Moving on, after making and eating my own breakfast, I go upstairs to wake up Hudson and Ethan and my parents. While they eat, I get dressed before packing my backpack and then head downstairs. As usual my family is still eating their breakfast so I sit and wait for my brothers, whilst listening in to their conversations.

"I swear man she's totally into me. I mean a girl doesn't accidenty snapchat you looking as good as she did, if they're not into you" Ethan said putting air quotes around the 'accidently'. I couldn't help but ket out a little giggle. They turned their heads towards me smirks on their faces.

"Well well well, does our little sister have something to say?" Hudson asked a mischievous smirk on his face, as he and Ethan snuck their way over to me. I shook my head getting off of my stool in an attempt to escape. They weren't having any of it.

"Oh no baby sis! What are you thinking in that pretty little head of yours? Do you disagree with our theory?" Ethan replied pulling on my ponytail, I giggled more, but ignored them and instead turning my attention towards a magazine laying on the kitchen hoping the boys would leave me alone. They didn't.

"Oh come on enlighten us baby sis. Don't you think girls would just die for a chance at al this?" Hudson said pointing to Ethan who was flexing his muscles and sporting a 'duck face'. I rolled my eyes at my two brothers.

"You guys are idiots," I replied pushing Ethan on the shoulder. Hudson pretended to be offended, while Ethan pretended to be physically wounded. However, the smiles on their faces gave them away easily.

"Mom! Dad! Melody hit me!!" Ethan yelled smiling down at me.

"Yeah! We have been emotionally and physically scarred. I think this means she loses the privilege of picking the movie for movie night!" Hudson whined as we all walked towards our parents, pulling them into our pointless discussion.
