Four.

Scarlet's POV

   "How did you get in here?! Why are you in here, how long have you been?" I continue to ask him questions only to realize he isn't even paying attention to what I was saying. Instead, his eyes were fixed onto my neck. I move my hair to cover up the marks Liam had made.
"Who gave you those, Scarlet?" He walks closer to me.

    I hesitate for a second, "Just this guy I danced with at a party. I didn't think about getting his name. I-" He grabs my jaw and makes me look up at him into his eyes.

Struggling to hold the towel close to my body I try to get away from his grasp. I successfully get away from his grip and run back into the bathroom and lock the door. That being followed by the sound of the door handle jiggling and the pounding on the door. This happens for awhile along with him yelling at me telling me to come out. Why does he care so much? He doesn't own me no matter what he says.

     Time passes by as I wake up. It's silent, so I get up and open the door a little to peek inside my bedroom to see if he's still in there. Nothing but a cool breeze hits my skin causing goosebumps to rise the hairs on my skin. Looking down I realize I'm still naked. I open the door all the way and quickly pick something out to wear. I see the window is open with my curtains flowing with the wind. Why couldn't he have just left through the front door? Reaching for my phone I see it's already 9 in the morning and I have two missed calls from Rose saying to meet at the coffee shop down the street. I grab my bag and start walking. As I listen to The xx while walking, I start thinking about Harry. Everything is so confusing, how I just met him on this stupid website and now I'm working for him, and how he acts like he owns me. I need to talk to him about everything soon.

       Fixing my turtle neck as I walk in I look up to see Rose sitting in the corner by the window with her laptop and a latte.

      "Hey why did you want me here? Did something happen?"

      "No can I just invite you somewhere to just hang out with out you asking a million questions?"

       I sit down and go on my phone to read some messages and emails. I see an email from Harry.

To Ms. Winters

    Remember to be at work tomorrow on time. Just come up straight to my office. We need to finish our discussion as it was interrupted because you rushed out. Anyways, I will see you tomorrow.

      Time passes by as Rose and I talk about school assignments and book reports. Which I completely forgot I had one due on Tuesday, and it was Sunday. After we had our coffee we went our separate ways.

     On the way home I decided to go to the library that just opened, which is a little out of the way home but I need to get the book for this report, I'm almost failing this class. I glance up to the sky and it's starting to get cloudy so I walk faster as it looks it's about to rain.

     I walk in the library building just in time as it started to pour. I look around and it's actually really nice. it's two stories and the balcony over looks the first floor. It seems too nice for a library. I browse the building to get a feel of everything and see where the different kinds of books are. My teacher said the report could be on anything as long as it had a powerful life lesson behind it. Walking to a random bookshelf I hear a familiar voice from what seems to be the other side of the bookshelf I was looking through. I move a few books to see Liam. I roll my eyes and but my tongue to hold my laugh back. He walks around to me.

      "Need help with anything?"

      I look around to see if anyone's around. "Uh yeah, to get rid of these." I pull my turtle neck down a little for the hickeys to be visible. He looks at them, smirks and chuckles. I punch his shoulder, "It's not funny! Now I have to wake up earlier just to get these stupid things covered up."

      "Stupid huh? That's not what you were saying when I was giving them to you."

      "Uh okay Liam," I say chuckling a little, "and yeah I need to find this one book." I show him what the book is called from my phone and he walks me over to where it would be. I take it and he walks with me to check it out.

      "It's raining pretty hard out there, you got a car you drive in?"

      "No I walked I'll be fine I just live down the street."

     "No worries I can give you a lift. My break is in 10 minutes anyways. Wouldn't want you getting sick from being out there."

    "Okay thanks, Liam." He walks away to go get his things. I walk towards the doors only to stop. I look through the window and see Harry walking towards the building. I rush towards the direction were Liam came from. Speed walking, I looked in back of me and I suddenly bump into a rock hard chest. I look up to see Liam, thank goodness.

    "Can we go through the back? I just saw my friend from school and I don't want her seeing me with you and asking me a bunch of questions." I don't wait for him to reply, take his hand and walk out. Once we're out he leads me to the car and opens the door for me.

    It's quiet most of the ride until his voice breaks the silence.

    "We should go somewhere next weekend. You know, do something. I would like to get to know you better, you seem like a really lovely person."

    "Aw well, okay where do you want to go? Or what do you want to do?" I blush at what he said. I mean he is really attractive and he seems nice.

    "Well we can have a chill day at my place, there's supposed to be a storm on Saturday. I have a game room and a big tv we can watch movies on." I look over at him to him smiling as he talks about what we could do.

     "Okay, I'll let you know later this week." We come to a stop and I realize we're in front of my house. "Thank you for the ride!" I say while climbing out of the car. I run to the front door trying to not get too wet. I really wish I had brought a jacket with me. Before I walk in I wave back to Liam. After taking a hot shower I take a snack from the kitchen and go upstairs to do my book report.

  

A/N I feel horrible for not updating in forever. I've been thinking I should do short chapters like these and update more frequently, the longer ones usually take me a while. By the way thank you SOOOO much for 4K reads I thought this story would only get like 10 reads lmao. ily guys I'm gonna try to update tomorrow to, it just depends on how much homework I have but I probably will update anyways. I have some good ideas. thank you for reading :)
