Chapter 8

Rosie POV
I was in my room packing my suitcases. I found out that we are moving to New York and we are leaving tomorrow morning bright and early. As I was saying, I was packing when Luke barged into my room.

"Rowe what the hell are you doing??!!"he  screamed

"Well I was packing my suitcases until you came in here." I stated.

" Rowe don't you care that you are leaving me forever??" Luke asked sadly.

"Of course I care, I'm soo sad but there is nothing I can or you can do." I said sadly.

"You know what, let's  not think about tomorrow, lets just enjoy our time together"he said while smiling.

" You know, you are right. BTW where is my dad?" I asked

"He is staying with us tonight , because the witch doesn't want him here until you guys are gone."

"Ohh that's sad but whatever. Leggo."

So Luke and I are at the mall. I hate shopping but Luke is buying me a goodbye gift. Awww isn't he sweet.

Lucas POV
So I need to buy Rowe a gift but I don't know what to buy her......... Ummmmm .........................ummmmmmm........Yaaasss I got it. Since she is a tomboy, why not buy her a Segway hover board.
But which colour, ummmmmmmmm........ Maybe yellow and red because its our favourite colour. But I have to pick it up later so Rowe doesn't expect a thing.

"hey Luke, where is my present?" She asked.

"Huh??? Present??? I ain't buying you one." I said confused.

"Ooo y-yea. I don't know why I asked such a stupid question"

I saw the big smile of her face dropped. It was replaced by the saddest frown I have ever seen. But tomorrow, she will have the biggest smile the world has ever seen.
I gave her a small smile and kept on walking.

"Luke aren't you worried that we might not see each other for the rest of our lives??" She asked.

"Of course, I am worried. You are my best friend, I don't know what my life would be without you" I said truthfully looking in her eyes.
Fun fact: Rowe is actually 5'5 while I'm 5'4. Sighz.

"Same Luke same. I love you Lukie never forget that" Rowe said looking at me.

"I love you with all my heart Rowe, and I'll never stop. I hope you don't forget that" I said looking deep in her eyes.

Normal people would just thing we are a young couple who are in love. But in reality we are two individuals, best friends, who has gender issues.

"Awwww that's so sweet you guys"

I turned around to see Vanessa behind me smiling while drying her fake tears.

"I just don't get why you two aren't dating"she said.

"Ewwwwww nessa" we both said at the same time.

"Yea yea you two have gender issues, I know"

"Huh, Nessa how do you know that???" I questioned.

"Well, Luke you are my little brother and I can read like a book, because I kinda read you journal and found out every thing about you and Rowe your dad told us." She said.

"You read my freaking journal!!! " I yelled turning red. I have some personal stuff in there.

"Yea even the part where mom caught you wearing my clothes" she said in between laughs.

"What !! That's s-s-such a-a huge l-l-lie"I stuttered.

I look over to Rosie and I saw her holding back a laugh. But then the huge grin disappeared and was replaced by a look of utter disbelief.

"My dad actually told you guys, Omg he could've asked for my permission first. Ugggghhh that man!!!" Rowe said.

"Yeah, let's get home now guys"

"Well you guys got to go, I'm going to the mall"

"OK bye Nessa"

Rowe and I walked home and finally we got some peace and quietness.

"Ummmm Luke we are having a goodbye party and you are invited"

"Sweet. And Rowe shouldn't we be the one hosting the party for you guys??" I questioned.

"Yeah, I know right but you know how Stormie behaves"

"Yeah, I know, well I got to get ready. See you later Rowe."

"Later Luke".
