Marley's POV
I just finished my song when I get startled by a deep voice behind me.
"Omg you scared me, " I said placing my hand on my heart.
" Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you." the voice said
"It's uh fine..."
" You have an amazing voice you know."
" Thanks... ummm do you mind stepping into the light I kind of don't wan to be seen talking to the dark alone." I said staring into the darkness.
" Oh right sorry..."
I see that it was Cole behind the darkness. I start to get a little nervous when he gets closer onto the balcony. He sits down next to me, right by the body of my guitar.
" What song were you playing?" He asks
" Oh just a song I've liked for a while now... a Shawn Mendes song."
"Cool.." he says " Mind playing me another song?"
" Sure I guess umm mind if i play Tori Kelly?" I say looking at him
"Yea sure I love Tori Kelly" He says smiling. I smile back and start playing.

Out of no where Cole begins to sing the next verse. I look at him in so much shock but I continue to play.

I start smiling on how he knows the song so well, the way he sings is so amazing. We then begin to sing the last few lyrics to the song.

I finish the last few chords of the song still looking at Cole and smiling. I begin to blush a little. I look down to avoid eye contact but then Cole places his finger under my chin to lift me head up to look at him. He pulls a strand of hair behind my ear and begins to lean in. I begin to also lean in but then next thing I know one of my guitar strings pop and break causing us to break apart before anything can happen.
" Ughhh stupid guitar, I swear this thing is so old." I said trying to take the old string out.
" How come you can't just give that one up and just get a new one?" Cole asks
