I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock.Today was my first day at my new school.I feel a bit relieved.All my old friends betrayed me....they used me.They took advantage of my kindness.But what did they gain from that? To see me broken? Is that what they wanted? I got out of bed and got dressed into my uniform.I sat down in front of my vanity and combed all the knots and tangles out of my h/c hair.I went downstairs and made myself breakfast.I sat down and began to eat.I looked over at the counter and saw a note.I reached to get it."At work,sorry I can't wish you a good first day in person.Love you" - Mom.

Atleast she wrote me a note to say so.I finished breakfast and put my bowl in the sink.I went upstairs and brushed my teeth.I grabbed my bag and phone and headed back downstairs.I put my shoes on then left,locking up the house.

I arrived at school and headed towards the office."What a beautiful campus" I couldn't help but think.Suddenly,I bumped into something or someone and fell to the ground."Ouch" I thought as I rubbed my head.

"Sorry",I heard a male voice say as I looked up.

The guy had light brown hair and crystal blue eyes.

"You must be new",he said as he put his hand out for me.I grabbed it hesitantly.

"Yeah...."I said looking down.
"Well then,lets start off with introductions!",he smiled.
"Hello,I'm Laurence,what's your name?",he said.
"Hi,I'm y/n",I told him.
"Y/n? What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl",he said.
"Well,I'm really sorry for bumping into you,see you around?",he said in an apologetic tone,rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yeah..."I told him.
"Alright then! Bye!",he said running off toward what I assumed to be his friends.The first one had blonde hair and icy blue eyes,while the other guy and blue hair and deep blue eyes.

Laurence....what an interesting guy..I thought to myself .Though I knew nothing would ever happen.I couldn't make friends again....not after what happened last time.

I reached the office and went to the secretary.

"Hi,I'm here to get my schedule",I told her.
"Name?", she said,continuing to look at her screen.
"Y/n L/n"
"Oh,Ms L/n.Here you go",she handed me my schedule.
"Thank you.",I told her before heading out.

I looked at my schedule.
First period was...history...I guess it could be worse....

I headed to class 302 and knocked on the door.A lady with blonde hair and purple eyes came out.

"Hi,I'm y/n.Today's my first day.
"Oh y/n! I've been expecting you!",she said before letting me in.
"Let's see...you can sit....In the back by the window"
"Alright",I said as I walked over to my desk to place my belongings.
"I'm Ms.Emmalyn.I'll be your history teacher for the year.",she beamed.
"It's a pleasure to meet you,Ms.Emmalyn".

The bell soon rang and students quickly entered and sat down.

"Alright class",Ms.Emmalyn started.
"Today we have a new student.Care to introduce yourself?",she said looking at me.

I stood up from my seat.

"Hi,my names Y/n L/n.It's a pleasure to be in your class".I sat back down.

"Alright Y/n.Your partner for the year will be the guy sitting by you.Feel free to introduce yourselves to each other,seeing as you will be working together for the rest of the year."

I looked to my right.It was....Laurence.
