Vic's POV-

"Oh, h-hi Mikey." I stutter out and pull away from kellin.

"All I wanted was to go home and eat pizza after school! But I come home to see my brother, sucking face with another dude." Mike laughed and crossed his arms, leaning on the wall with a smug look. "And now I've lost my appetite. So, thanks for that."

"Hey, that's not my fault." I pout at him. I felt Kellin rub my back soothingly, I place my hand on his knee and smile at him before pecking his lips softly.

"OH MY GOD! I'm fucking leaving." Mike groaned, "PDA, PDA, PDA, PDA!" He shouted as he ran up the stairs.

"I like your brother." Kellin giggled as he runs his hand up and down my back.

"I don't," I pout at him and link our fingers together.

"You're cute," he smiles and nuzzles his face into my neck. I bring his hand up to my lips and kiss his knuckles softly.

"You're beautiful," I smile at him as he blushes darkly.

Kellin's POV-

I frowned at myself in the bathroom mirror. God, I'm ugly. I thought to myself as I leaned on the sink counter.

I'm getting ready to go on my date with Vic, today. I'm very flustered about it, because it's my very first date with anyone and I had no idea what to wear. Should it be casual or formal? Vic never told me where we were going, so I was not sure what to put on.

Eventually, I settled on a pair of tight, black skinny jeans, that showed off my girly butt, so I guess that's good. I also picked out a  Arctic Monkeys' band tee and a blue flannel.

"Boy, what do you think you're doin'!" My foster parent, Kevin yelled as he barged into my room. I looked at him with terror in my eyes because I could smell the alcohol on him. I knew for a fact that whenever he gets drunk, the beatings are worse. "You just gonna stand there? Oh, right 'cause you don't talk!" He screamed and slapped me across the face.

"Please," I whimpered as I fell to the ground.

"Ah, so it talks!" He growled, "get up!" I slowly pushed myself off the ground as tears poured out of my eyes. "You're gonna cry?" He punched me in the chest, knocking the wind out of me, causing me to cough rapidly. "You should stay quiet, boy." He said in annoyed tone as he kicked me in the gut.

I whimpered again, instantly regretting it. "I SAID STAY QUIET!" He screamed and punched my jaw with so much force, that it knocked me to the ground again. "Just kill yourself, faggot." Kevin spat before walking out of my room, leaving me to cry silently in pain.

I laid there for a while before crawling into the bathroom and locking the door. I needed to ease the pain. I quickly pulled myself up and grabbed my tin box of razors.

"Hello friends," I mumbled to myself as I pulled one out of the small box. I examined the small piece of metal, finding a strange  comfort in its presents.

Slowly, I slid the blade across my wrist. Over and over again, till I was satisfied with the number of slashes.

Once I finished washing away the blood, put a wrap around my wrist and pulled my flannel back over the damage.

I'm pathetic...

Vic's POV-

I pulled up to Kellin's house in my dad's truck. I was mentally screaming, because I really like Kellin and I just want this to be perfect.

I got out of the car and knocked on the front door. "Who are you?" Said a man angrily as he swung open the door.

"Oh, Vic Fuentes, Sir. I'm here to pick up Kellin." I smiled and held out my hand for him to shake. He just looked at my hand and crossed his arms.

"You're here for my son, huh?" He grumbled, narrowing his eyes at me.

"Yup, I sure am." I tried to say happy, wanting to put my best impression on for his father.

"Hey, Faggot! You're fuck buddy is here!" He screamed into the house and looked back at me.

I heard Kellin rush down the stairs and look at me with wide-eyes.

"Hey, Kells." I smiled at him and blushed slightly.

'Wait for me in the car.' He signed at me and looked at his father, who was starring him down.

"Oh, okay," I sighed and walked out to the car, hearing the door slam shut.

"You Faggot!" I heard his father yell from the house. "You are such a disgrace!" I then heard a loud slap and a muffled scream. "You fucking look at me when I speak to you!" Another slap and a loud crash. "Go to your pretty boy!" He screamed.

The door opened and Kellin was pushed out, falling to the ground harshly. "When you get back, I make you wish you were dead!" The man shouted and slammed the door.

I ran up to Kellin and pulled him up. His face was bruised and tears were streaming down his face. "Kellin, oh my god." I pulled his shaking body to my chest.

"V-Vic I'm s-sorry." He whimpered out and clung to the fabric of my shirt.

"Shh, you have nothing to be sorry for." I picked him up bridal style and carried him over to the truck.

"I just w-want to d-die." He sobbed as I set him down in the passenger seat.

"I'll help you forget. . ." I say softly and press my lips to his passionately. "I'll be here for you. . ." I mumbled against his lips.

I placed my hand on his knee and leaned in to the kiss more. Kellin stopped crying and placed his hand on my chest softly. "Thank you," he pulled away from the kiss and looked up at me.

"For what?" I brushed my thumb softly across his bruised cheek.

"For caring," he breathed out and looked up at me with his big, blue, innocent eyes.
