The Way you look tonight

Chapter 3

I anxiously waited around the office of my manager just watching the hands of the clock move at a speed much too close to my liking. Only two more minutes and I can go watch Luke practice with his band.

I should explain, My brother Luke is in the band 5 seconds of summer who is taking the world by storm. It feels quite weird to say that about my brother.

Nobody knows that Luke and I are related, I don't want people liking me for his fame and he feels the same way. I guess you could say we come from a pretty talented family considering I not only sing but I can play the drums like no other.

After two minutes of thinking, my manager finally gave me the papers needed and I bolted out of that room as if you told me Taylor Lautner was at my house and only I could save him . A girl can dream.

I got to the sold out arena my brother would be playing in 3 hours and rehearsing in about two minutes ago. Curse myself for being distracted by a cute puppy walking down the street. I quickly put my sunglasses on and my hood up to avoid being recognized. The screams of Fangirls filled the air. Once inside I didn't remove my cover and frantically looked for Luke .

To my dismay I didn't find him but did find an empty drum set calling my name. There was no one around so I took of my cover of privacy and sat down. I frantically looked for a pair of drumsticks before I found them lying about ten feet away, I quickly ran and grabbed them. My fingers aching for them. Two deep breaths in and out.

"You can do this" I spoke to myself.

I closed my eyes and remember the impossible beat.

My senses took over and played the intricate pattern of Bella's Lullaby on the drums.(a/n I don't know if that exists on drums but pretend it does and it's really complicated and beautiful)

I was snapped out of my trance by nine boys staring at me awe struck. These nine boys are more commonly known as 5SOS and One Direction. I let out a breath I hadn't realized I was holding and ran out to my brother who had a proud smirk on his face. The other boys were still awe struck and that's when I realized the one with the brown curly hair and dimples was holding a camera.

"Andrea that was amazing, I forgot how talented you were!" Luke whispered into my ear not letting me go.

"Luke don't let that video get out, I can't have people think I'm using you for fame." I whispered angrily and quickly.

Calum - I think it was cleared his throat snapping the other boys out of their trance who were now intently watching my every move. I ran out of the arena but as my fingers hit the metal opening I shouted back to Luke my voice ringing across the arena.

"See you tonight Luke, rock the show for me" and with that I left the arena.

The boys were all staring at Luke demanding an explanation to who the beautiful girl was and what she was doing here.

Ashton was the most anxious to know who the beautiful drummer was who played a melody so intricate he had not been able to master it.

"Luke" Niall spoke."Mind telling us who that girl was ?"

"It was nobody don't worry about it ,why don't we start soundcheck yeah?"

The boys slowly but surely nodded their head and all went different directions to prepare for the show, None of them being able to forget the girl.

I got into my car that was parked outside the arena and repeatedly hit the steering wheel releasing my frustrations, How could I have been so stupid to let them catch me and on tape too! I clenched the wheel until my knuckles were white. I then remembered the paper I had forgotten l about. I took the folder and quickly scanned it to see who I would be interviewing next. My heart raced and my stomach dropped when I read the two words I did not want to read.

One direction.
