I got up at 10 as usual to go to work . I work at Forever 21 in the mall . I got up & did my hygiene thing . I put on my leather leggings , a black crop top & a faded jean vest , & my bred 11's . I put my hair in a curly bun . I walked outside to my car , got in & drove off . I walked into work & started stacking the shelf with bags . when India's sister walked in . I haven't seen her since it happened . I felt her staring at me . so I turned around .
" can I help you ? " I said coldly .
" have you seen India ? " she asked like she didn't care about what she just asked .
" naaaah " I said lying not wanting her around my best friend .
" well if you see her , tell her we are looking for her " she said walking out . I seen her walking out with Darnell . oh god .

the bell rang meaning it was time for school to be out . I walked outside waiting for my friend Maary . we kicked it all day at the school just chillin then a black car rolled up slowly . knowing us we starting running then a man in all black aimed his gun out the window & started shooting at us . I kept running until Maary fell down covered in her own blood . as the car speed off I kneeled down in shock holding Maary's head close to my chest . I screamed & cried for help but there was no one there . I sat there & cried as my best friend died in my arms . as the police & ambulance got there she was already gone . the police hand cuffed me & took me to the station . I was in total shock . why was I getting in trouble for this ? I just watched my best friend get shot & die but im in jail . I sat there waiting until the gard called . " KiNG ! " I stood up & walked out after he unlocked the sell . I walked to the front & there was Reema waiting for me . my real R . O . D . I hugged her after I signed a few papers & left .
" what happened baby girl ? " she asked still looking at the road .
" she's gone Reema , Maary is gone " I said starting to cry again . I could tell she got mad & hurt because her grip on the wheel was tightened . then my phone rang like whaaat by Problem . I answered .
" hello ? " weakly said .
" hey are you alright ? "
" who Is this ? " I asked sounding scared & confused .
" it's me , Elias "
" oh , my friend was shot & killed earlier today . " I said starting to cry all over again .
" oh my god im so sorry , ima come & spend time with you okay ? " he asked
" okay " I said & gave him our address . I then hung up & walked inside the house but Reema went to get Josiah & take him out & about . I got in the shower & washed for about 20 minutes until the doorbell rang . I stepped out , wrapped a towel around myself & opened the front door . I looked up to see Elias with a vase full of flowers , he handed them to me & hugged me tight .
" please don't let go " I said putting them on the table beside us . he lifted me up as my towel feel off then took me upstairs to my bedroom & laid me on the bed as he kissed down my body . what was he doing ? & should I stop it ?
