Prologue

~ Adriana's POV ~

"Truth or dare Adriana?"

"Oh come on guys. We're not in middle school anymore." I reply.

"Don't be such a snob Ms. Hot Shot Fashion goddess." Vivian speaks up. "This is your last night out before you leave for filming."

"Fine. Dare." I give in.

"We dare you to go up to one of those hotties by the bar, sit on their lap, and make out with them for at least 30 seconds. If you fail then you have to pay for our next three rounds of drinks."

"Fine." I say, accepting the challenge and beginning to scan my options.

"You have 10 seconds to choose one, hurry up!" My friends encourage me and laugh as I scowl at them. Just as I start walking toward a blonde haired man, I catch a glimpse of the man next to the blonde. His hair is curly and falls a bit passed shoulder length. My eyes scan over his body, torso clad in a crisp black button up and legs covered in a black and white pants with a floral pattern. By the time my eyes reach his face I nearly halt in my tracks. A wide smile is spread across his face, dimples carved into his cheeks, and piercing green eyes staring at his friends. A smirk spreads across my face seeing as I found my man of choice. As I approach the man he finally notices me and smirks upon my arrival.

"Hey, I was just about to go over there and talk to you, but it looks like you beat me to the punch." The man chuckled. He gestured for the seat next to him and as I made my way to the seat I made sure to keep eye contact. "So what's your name?" He asked as I sat down, but I just shook my head and leaned towards him.

"I can't give out my name baby boy, but I can give you a little something if you're interested." I spoke as I trailed my hands down his chest.

"I'm interested." He spoke and gripped my waist to pull me against him.

"Great." I replied and sat myself on his lap with both my legs hanging off to the side. I wrapped my arms around him and before he could say anything else I pressed my lips to his.

It took him a few moments to kiss back, but once he did I damn near fell over. The kiss became heated within a matter of milliseconds once he began to move his lips with mine. As our lips continued to touch, his left arm slid around my waist and pulled me in closer so our chests were touching. He then raised his right hand to my cheek and gripped it when he deepened the kiss.

His tongue gently slid into my mouth and grazed with mine. There was no overpowering dominance he was trying to assert, but he did make it clear that he was leading this kiss.

My hands slid from his shoulders and into his hair, tugging on the strands. The man let out a light groan against my lips as I pulled a little too hard. The man broke the kiss for a couple seconds to catch his breath, during that time he made sure to keep a firm grip on me, as if he was trying to keep me from leaving.

"You're so hot." He spoke and then leaned in for another kiss. In the background I could hear Vivian and the girls cheering me on. When I had the chance I raised my hand and stuck up my middle finger as I continued to kiss this stranger. Moments later our kiss was broken due to someone talking.

"Mate we've been here for 10 minutes and you've already bagged a chick!" A man with brown hair and chocolate eyes spoke. He had a cute birthmark on his neck and I couldn't help but check him out.

"Oh buzz off Liam." The man whom I was sitting on replied before leaning in again to kiss me. We kissed for a couple more minutes until I felt a hand wrap around my arm and pull me up from the mans lap.

"Hey, sorry to interrupt but we have to leave." Viviana voice speaks, but I'm not paying much attention as I'm being dragged away from the stranger in awe.

"Hey wait! What's your name?" The man called out.

"You'll have to meet me again to find out!" I shouted back and blew him a kiss as I came back to reality.

That was one hell of a good way to end my time in this city.

Goodbye New York and hello Los Angeles.
