 Staring a the papers on her desk was seeming strangely impossible. Tears swelled up in the corners of her eyes. I created a monster if I.... I had just never taken the job... none of the people would be dead. Why is this happening to me! she was about to scream this Claire was the same woman who months ago stood with her head tall and was the main asset director of the worlds most popular theme park. Now look at me she cried clenching her fist in her fiery red hair. She was a different person ever since the indomnious Rex incident, she was weak, vulnerable and small a fool almost. As she sobbed in her makeshift office in the hotel she was in, as her home had been on the island but everything had to be left behind her phone jolted to a start. God! she said under her breath. The stupid phone she was constantly scared of it. If she had just stayed with Owen and called as soon as they lost the dinosaur and never left, nothing would have happened. Her phone call she later learned had almost gotten her nephews she barley knew killed all the while she was tiring to save them. The vibrations, while they were in the giro-sphere attracted the inomnious Rex and had almost resulted in the loss of her only friend, Karen her younger sisters, reasons to live. If that had happened she would never live on. When she finally gained the courage she looked at her phone. Owen. The guy who deep inside she thought she loved but heck with it she told herself she never loved him she loved what he did not him himself. Slowly picking it up she managed to say hello. "Claire, are you okay he asks hearing the sadness and pain in her voice. "ya she says wiping her eyes...... No she confeces not really finally giving in and letting him know about the unstable mess she had become."Claire, he started it was never your fault... they never told you what kinda monster they cooked up in that lab "forget about me she sobbed what did you need ? "no Claire I cant just forget about you, you saved my life "what no... I did nothing but get in your way I should have just listened and went back while you found the boys. At this point she was sitting on the edge of the white now unmade bed despite her normal way of life, everything in place and in order 'Owen, I have to go.. she sobbed" and collapsed onto the rumpled mess of blankets and pillows on the bed "what n..."

cut off mid sentence as she slams her phone against the bed side table , shattering the screen.

Flipping over her face buried into the mess of a bed she hears a knock on the door "Go Away!!"

she shouts "No, Claire open the door.." reluctantly she moves twords the door attempting to smooth her forever wrinkled skirt. She attempts to wipe away the tears but it was useless she sighed. She was a fool and she truly believed it. Opening the door "Owen.... she starts "Claire he sighs he hated to see her in pain she was brilliant she was Claire and no one could top that. "i.... I am sorry she starts to cry again for what was at least the 10th time today "Claire, no" he grabs her arm and pulls her into his arms "Claire its okay, its over and you are okay and so are your nephews. Everything is okay" she just listens and hugs him tighter "wi,,will you stay p..please" she mumbles "of course he says, staring into her bright blue eyes that he swore if you stared into long enough could pull you into a different universe. A universe he wanted to be part of. Holding her in his arms he let go and together they sat on the edge of the unmade bed. "sorry she mumbles I am usually more organized she says softly. "i know he smiles and laughs slightly in an tempt to cheer her up, you did print an itinerary for our date he smiled and looked into her eyes that were glistening in the dim light of the hotel room. In that moment Claire knew she loved him not just what he did but him, not a single guy had ever done anything to show they cared about her but Owen, his name, Owen rolled off the tip of her tongue.
