On A Mission

Natasha POV

Here I am, standing in front of this glorious creature. Something I know that will never be mine. That's what hurts me  the most. I can feel the blood in my body rushing to my cheeks and then realizing that his smirk just grows even more. I turn away quickly knowing that he saw everything. From the time our eyes were connected to the time my cheeks began to grow red.

Damn you Natasha! Why the hell do you make it so obvious that you are interested in someone? Walk away now. He already can tell that you are desperate.

Ignoring what was said in my head, I turned back to find out that he was already gone. Out of sight. Like he was never there. It was like a dream. As a matter of fact--

Beep! Beep! Beep! 

The sounding of my alarm once again destroys my sweet mellow dreams of Jaiden Moss. The most handsome guy I've seen at the Tiger Creek High. He stands about 6'0 with an athletic built body. He has a smile that would light up your whole day. His eyes are like shining stars.Oh how I yearn for his touch. Knowing that I will never experience it. All I have are dreams, dreams that i wish could turn into reality. 

Snap out your fantasies egomaniac ! Get ready for school.

It's rare that I listen to myself but this time I did. I crawled off my bed and went straight to the bathroom and did my morning routine for school. I went into my closet and got my outfit for the day. I put on some light washed denim jeans,a white v-neck shirt,a tan cardigan, tan toms along with some pearl earrings. For my hair I decided to put it into a messy bun. Although I'm not popular, I made sure that I always looked my best. It was my thing. After getting dressed I grabbed my bag and keys and drove off to school.

 "Tasha!" The voice was no other than my best friend Genesis .We have been friends for like 4 years. I can trust her with anything. You could practically call us sisters. "tashayy tashayy! Omg! Let's compare our schedules to see if we have any classes together."

"Hold up, let me pull out my schedule." I replied back while taking my schedule out my pocket. We both scanned the schedules. 

"Economics check, and AP lit check. We have two classes together. I can't wait to see what this school is going to bring us." Genesis stated. 

"Dido" I said while looping my arm into hers. Let's go to first period bestie."

We then arrived to our first period class which was Economics. We chose seats in the middle more towards the back of the classroom. We got settled in and just chatted waiting for the bell to ring. 

"Jaiden! Hey come sit  next to me!" A random girl shouted.

What a desperate girl? I couldn't stand the fact that Jaiden attracted everyone.

He just gave her a smirk and a wink then began to walk towards the empty seat that was in front of me. 

Oh my fucking gosh is he about to sit in front of me. No way. Stop staring tash, you dumb ass.

Of course this would be the day I wouldn't listen to myself . I resisted like a maniac and stared at this sexy ass guy making his way towards me. All of a sudden he looked up at me and stared. It wasn't a stare like "who the hell are you looking at? But more like wow I've never seen you before. As weird as that might of sound it still didn't stop my blood to rape my cheeks and make them turn red like a cherry. His pink lips began to form into a smirk that made my insides weak.  Just like my dream.

Wait, could it be a dream? Duh Natasha! Why the hell would Jaiden Moss stare at you? I mean you are somewhat attractive. But wait, he also smirked. Don't get ahead of yourself he smirks at everyone. Exhibit one, the random girl that shouted out his name.

"Genesis I was able to whisper. Pinch me."

"Pinch you? Why? she questioned. 

"I... I ..um mm"

"Spill it already!" she demanded 

" I um... I um think I'm dreaming."

"Trust me tash I'm pretty sure you are not dreaming."

"Just pinch me genesis! I extended my arm out to her. Do it!" 

I closed my eyes and waited patiently for her to pinch me. Nervous as hell, I was going to find out if I was actually in reality and not in my fantasies.

"Ouch! Damn you Genesis!" The stingy sensation brought chills to my back that ran down my spine. That's  when I noticed Jaiden's head, it  started to turn around towards me.

Damn tash he hasn't even turned his head completely around and your already about to have a mini heart attack. 

"You okay?" His deep masculine smooth voice echoed in my ears. This time I had a feeling that  I  had thousands of critters running up my spine and of course my cheeks were firing up, slowly  reviling my dimples.

"He..he... i giggled a little before answering. I'm fine."

"Whatever you say. By the way ...Jaiden."

Damn you Jaiden. I already knew your name. Damn, damn damn! Compose yourself tash. 

"Natasha."I replied still showing my dimples.

"Na-ta-sha. he responded breaking my names into syllables . Nice name along with your dimples."

Yes tash he just said you have a nice name and dimples. Digest it girl . 

I tried so hard to digest the compliments that Jaiden was complementing me but it didn't seem to work because when I tried to reply, nothing came out. 

Genesis could tell that I was struggling to reply so she gave me a push and I snapped back once again to reality. 

"Sorry about that." I said while examining every facial movement that came upon his face. He probably thinks I'm a complete freak. 

Yes Natasha you are a dumb ass and you deserve a slap in the face from everyone in your senior class. Jaiden is just a guy and you are totally overreacting.

"It's cool. Talk later? He questioned 

"Pssh, yea of course." I replied trying to play it out all cool. 

Really tash? Who says pssh anymore? Yeah I'm convinced that I'm a total creep. He's probably trying to be nice to you.

"Cool!" and with that he turned around and within the next thirty minutes class was over.
