Chapter 2

(Selena's P.O.V)

Today is the day I start my counselling sessions with Harry.
I'm determined to help him.

It's hurts me seeing people suffer like this

I walk into the institution,
I pass Janie the receptionist
I wave at her, she smiles quickly before looking back at her computer.

I press the button of the elevator to my floor and the doors open,
revealing Louis with a toothy grin

He smiles before hugging me.
"Are you seriously gonna do this?" He asks raising an eyebrow.

I bite down on my bottom lip and nod.

. "I just don't want you getting hurt, I can't imagine what I'd do without you, he's dangerous Sel" He sighs running his fingers through his hair.

"Louis,
I know I can do this!
You don't always have to look out for me, but thankyou" I smile as he returns the favour.

The doors open and he walks out wishing me good luck.

Louis is right, Harry is known to be dangerous and that's what worries me.

What if he attacks me?

What if I can't control him?

What if I can't get to the panic button in time?

I take a deep breath as I walk up to Harry's room swiping in my card

I place my hand on the door opening it and closing it behind me.

The room is white.
Literally everything is white.
The walls,
the door,
the bed ,
the ceiling.
All white.

"Harry?" I call noticing him in a corner of the room.

He wore grey sweats and a white
v-neck

His sat hugging his knees to his chest his head dug into them.

"Harry?" I call again making his head snap up as he looks up

I studied his features as His emerald green eyes stare back at me
His plump pink lips
Flawless face

He's beautiful.

I stared at him studying every detail, every aspect of him
He tall and good build.
He looks quite fit
As I could see his toned abs right through his white t-shirt.

No no no !
Focus Selena !
You aren't here to check him out
You are here to help him !

I suck in a deep breath as his eyes are still pinned on me 

"Hey there!
I'm Dr Gomez
but you can call me Selena if you'd like?" I say taking a step closer to him.

"No no no!" He yells shaking his head, looking rather frightened.

"It's okay! I won't harm you!" I exclaim taking another step forward.

"I don't know you!" He mutters going back into his usual position
rocking back and forth.

"Well why don't I tell you a bit about myself then?" I suggested smiling slightly,
Harry says nothing.

"Well first off...
I'm Selena Gomez
I'm 21 turning 22 in July
I love food,
I enjoy singing and making people laugh.
I love animals but don't own any.
My favourite colour is red.
My best friend is Louis,
or Dr Tomlinson and I love all my friends!" I say as he starts trembling

"Now you know me better!" I smile clutching my notepad

"I didn't ask" He mumbles putting me down.

"Well, I told you anyway .. Didn't I" I say sitting on the chair

"Now it's only fair .
If you tell me about yourself too
How about I ask you a few questions?" I suggest and he doesn't say anything.

Harry stares at me for a few seconds before looking at the wall making me nervous

"So, why did you tie yourself to a tree and hurt yourself in the process?" I ask

His eyes widen as he looks at me, shocked.

"Can you answer the question?" I ask and he just looks at the wall muttering words to himself.

"Harry you must learn to cooperate with me if you want to get help" I sigh and he sourly laughs shaking his head and looking at me.

"No one can help me" he mutters.

"Well I can try, how about you answer my question,
why'd you injure yourself and tie yourself to a tree?" I question again

His expression hardens as he twiddles with his thumbs.

I sigh and run my fingers through my hair.
I wish he'd stop being so difficult.

"Fine, who are 'they'?" I ask

"Harry, who are 'they'?" I ask this time more firmly

He begins to whimper

"Stop! Please! I wish you'd just disappear!" He screams.

I stare at him in shock,

Is he addressing me?

"Make them go away Selena!
Tell them to leave!" He begs as I look around the room confused

Who is he talking about?

"Make who leave?" I ask slightly scared.

"Them!" He screams curling into a ball.

I get up and begin to back up to the door,
suddenly Harry's body jerks up.

He looks at me with glossy eyes, he stretches his hand forward

"Please! Please don't leave me alone with them!" He screams

"What must I do Harry? " I ask

Was he having an hallucination?

Wait.

Is he reaching out for me?

Selena!

Don't just stand there!

Help him!

"I can't be left alone with them!" He stands up and puts both arms in front of him, asking me to go to him.

What should I do?

Should I go to him?

Selena make up your damn mind!

I walk to him cautiously and as soon as I'm within his reach,
he grabs me and wrapping his arms around me,
hugging me tightly

I stood there in his embrace
And in that moment the only thing that goes through my mind is that I feel safe
It's feels so right
As if I belong right here
