I thought about my family that whole day. My mom came home that night like she always does but could not find me. She called my dad to tell him what was happening. When he heard the news he began to freak out and rushed home. My parents stayed up all night long talking to the detectives and the police. I just wanted to see them. Every once and a while someone would open up the door and I pretend to still be asleep afraid of what I was about to meet. I am only thirteen years old so this is a little frightening to me. I began to think about how my younger brother Gavin and my younger sister Lorelai were reacting to this. After all Gavin was only six and in first grade when Lorelai was ten and in fourth grade. Me, Gavin, and Lorelai used to always have nerf fights all the time. I wondered if they would be able to think about all of our fun times without thinking of me and how they may never see me ever again. Just then i thought about my boyfriend and how much he would miss me. I wanted to see him as much as he wanted to see me infact I wanted to see all of them before I ever wanted to see the faces of the people who took me away from them. All I ever wanted was to grow up, go to a good college, and have a healthy life with my family and friends. Is that to much to ask for? About five minutes later I heard a nock on the door and I just layer there on my new bed that I hated crying. I acted like I was asleep so they might leave me alone. But, that hope was quickly lost when I heard someone's breath right beside me. They started saying my name and I kept acting like I was asleep. Then he said, " I know you are not asleep Julie and I know you don't want to see me. But if you do not open your eyes, sit up, and look at me then I will have to punish you for disobeying me. I don't want to do that so listen to me right now and sit up so you can see me and listen." Then I listened to him and sat up to look at him. "Finally", he said with a sigh. "Now, I need to talk to you about some stuff, so get dressed in some clean clothes." So I did what he said.
