Megan's POV:
Today was rough. After school while I was driving home, I wasn't paying very good attention to the road, and I ran a stop sign. I got pulled over and the police officer gave me a ticket. Liam is going to flip when he finds out. He always lectures me about safe driving and the rules of the road.
I'm pulling into our driveway now. "Megan what do you want for dinner?" Liam asks as I walk through the front door . "Anything is fine with me" I say, trying to get upstairs before he asks any more questions. I'm at the top of the stair case and I hear "Megan! What is this?" Oh shit. I run down and see Liam holding my driving ticket in his hand looking angry. It must've fallen out of my bag when I was going up stairs."That's nothing, can I have it back?" I ask. "How could you get a driving ticket? I've taught you everything you need to know about driving and you come home with this? Unacceptable."
I don't get why he's acting like this, I mean it's not like I asked him to pay it for me. "Liam it's not a big deal seriously" I say. "You don't take things seriously and I'm sick of it, give me your phone and car keys. Maybe then you'll learn a little responsibility" he says. Is he honestly serious right now? "Responsibility?" I ask. "I drive myself to and from school every
single day, I make sure all of my grades are at least above an eighty, and I have a part time job most days after school, if that's not called responsibility, I don't know what is!" I say back to him. I might be overreacting but I don't understand why he would say that to me, I am responsible. "You know what? I'm done with your attitude Megan, you're losing your cell phone and your car for a week. Don't even try to talk back to me again."
"No Liam I am not giving you my phone or my car, I have done noting wrong." I say back. He is getting really frustrated, I can tell because when he's angry, he has this one vein in his neck that pops out and looks really disgusting. "Go to your room" Liam says after a few seconds of not saying anything at all. I was about to say something else but he beat me to it. "Now" he said very calmly. I just decided to oblige because I did not want to get him any more angry.
