Tyler's POV (after he asked to go watch movies)

I can’t believe she said yes to me! I was actually joking around about it because I know she'd say no. she said no all the time to me, so I was just trying my luck but I can’t believe that I actually got lucky this time. What changes her mind? Hmm

"So tell me my friend, who made you smile like an idiot that just received a birthday present?" a hand landed on my shoulder and when I look at the owner of the hand, he was smirking. If I have a black belt on karate or something I’d smack him down already. 

"stop being Charles Xavier, Sky" recently we've been watching  x-men marathon and Sky notices that professor X often use the word 'my friend' in his words so he decided to be stupid and imitate him. That’s Sky for you. He’s an immature child

"No, I’m being intelligent" he said, still with the accent

"Just shut up please" 

"Aww, I’m interrupting you day dreaming?"

“I’m not daydreaming!" Sky doesn’t know that Shea said yes. I wanted to tell but I’m just going to wait until professor X finish possessing him

Present (the day of the date)

“Dude! Looking good” Zach said while I was getting my hair done in the living room. now, everyone in my house knows I'm going out with Shea. it seems that Sky can't keep his mouth shut and went missing when I want to kick his ass.

“Stop being gay Zach” I said nonchalantly

“You know, people nowadays can’t accept the fact that a man could actually compliment other guy if they want to”

“Sure they can. If they’re gay” I said simple, ignoring him

“Okay, then that must’ve mean that celebrities are gay dudes then”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean have you seen celebrity said to another celebrity that they’re ugly hideous and UGLY?” I started to think for a moment and shake my head

“Exactly. So they’re actually complimenting each other. Are they gay Tyler?”

“Well, no...”

“Exactly my point again.” since when does Zach start having a brain? Like seriously, he’s always the joker, the stupid guy character dude, Skylar is always the brainiac (if that’s even a word) in our small group of friends and Quinn is always just Quinn.

“Okay, you’re right and I’m late so could you please save the lecture” I’m currently alone in this city without my family and Sky, Zach and Quinn happen to be my housemate. Yeah, bros before hoes. Don’t even know why I said that. Nervous I guess

Shea’s POV

“What are you wearing right now dear?” mother looked at me from top to bottom like I’m some crazy girl running around the house. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit.

“Clothes?”

“You’re going on date” she said sternly. I mean most mothers would probably be like, yeah, do whatever you want as long as you’re safe.

“Well, technically it’s not a date because he didn’t actually ask me out or anything” I think I’m right. I mean, what is wrong with a big sweatshirt that says ‘I love myself’ and a nice pair of skinny jeans? The cinemas would be cold especially in this freezing weather. I think I pick the perfect attire.
