Forgotten: An Akb0048 Fanfiction

Chapter 4- Escape

Mayu's light blue eyes wandered throughout her cell. She was shaking, scared that they would come for her. She used her robotic power to scan the room. They weren't there. She took a purple butterfly pin from her long black hair now down resting on her shoulders that used to be styled in the original Mayu's signature hairstyle, twin tails. She scanned the steel bars on front of her. Red light shone and she finally found it. The keyhole. She heard muffled voices above her. She activated her ultra hearing so she can hear what they were saying. "Let's go down and check on my honey." She heard that same annoying voice which caused her to clench her teeth. "Ahahaha you're still going on with that." Some of the other men said. Then it struck her. She had to hurry up and get out. She unlocked the chain connected to her foot with the pin. That chain brought her so much pain. It was the thing they used to connect her to the weapons. They also tried to actually place her body in the weapon which brought her pain but they didn't care. She tried to suppress the memories that came to her head and quickly walked towards the bars. She could hear their faint footsteps. She began to shake. She jumbled the pin in the lock and twisted it. The footsteps grew louder. The steel bars opened with a soft click then she placed her feet out of the cell she was trapped in for two whole years. She sensed their footsteps. The closer they got the more her heart beat increased. She panicked knowing that the only door there was was the door the DES were going to go through in about 10 seconds. 9. 8. 7. 6. Mayuyu glanced above. There was a vent. She threw up rope that used to be for her hands and feet and climbed it. 3. 2. She barely made it. 1. The DES came inside. She shook uncontrollably in the vent she had just climbed out. "No way..." One of the guys said. "We better report to headquarters. All of you go and search around the hideout. She couldn't have gotten out so quickly." The same guy who taunted her every day said. "Right." All the guys said. She closed her eyes put her hand on her beating heart. Then she opened them and smiled. This was going to be a new adventure. She crawled in the vent to another place further down close to the exit. She saw the DES through the tiny holes. They looked around then went another direction. She took of the covering and slowly climbed down. Her hair touched the ground as she got down upside down. She quickly jumped to the ground and proceeded with her mission. She scanned the whole place and she found the exit which was a place where lots of the DES were. "There!" She heard a guy say. She panicked and quickly ran towards the stairs. She didn't know what happened but she suddenly started speaking. "Run fast Mayuyu!" She was surprised herself. She suddenly started running faster than the wind. The DES were nowhere near her. "Nice job Mayuyu!" She cheered. She was surprised. Was this what she was like before the DES? she saw DES members approaching from the front. "Ultra Mayuyu attack!" She exclaimed as she shoved through them. "Watanabe Mayu freeze!" A DES guy said. There were about fifty more guys behind him. She froze there and the shaking came back. She wanted to be like her old self. Cheerful and strong. She closed her eyes and let her real self take over. "Mayuyu doesn't care whatever challenge there is! I want to sing right here and right now!" Mayuyu said. Suddenly a certain song started playing in her head. She began dancing.

By the time the song was over all the DES guys were down defeated. She finally went out the door. The air caressed her long black hair. She started running. The wind felt great. She was finally free. Free from the DES. She escaped!
