Noelle Madrid Cole was your classic Beverly Hills girl. She’s the entire upper class beauty package; tall, tan, and thin. She is quite fashionable and is filthy rich. She has never had a serious relationship in her life. And she doesn’t plan on having one.
Noelle isn’t the type of girl who spends her life dwelling on her future and how it will turn out. She figures life will turn out how it’s supposed to. Look what it’s given her so far. She doesn’t need a husband or children to be happy; that’s what money is for.
Noelle has her flings here and there. A few with bartenders, some with random men she danced with at clubs, and even some celebrities. What man couldn’t resist Noelle? She was gorgeous and had money. She was the whole package.
Among all of the flings Noelle has had, she has one man that has stuck by her side through thick and thin. He’s the one man in Noelle’s life that she knows she can trust. He’s the one man she needs, and that’s all she needs.
Front man of Maroon 5, Adam Levine, happens to be that man.
Adam and Noelle met when she was at the young age of fifteen, and his band was just taking off at the age of twenty-four. Her family moved two doors down from Adam’s home that he shared with his best friend, Gene Hong, and the pair became instant friends.
When Noelle was about twenty and Adam was twenty-nine, their parents encouraged them to date. The duo was best friends and got along so well. Their parents figured they would make an amazing couple, and they would eventually settle down together.
The duo immediately fought back with the argument that if they dated, they would most likely break up and their friendship would be ruined. They wanted to stay friends for a long time and didn’t want anything to ruin that.
But recently, Adam and Noelle decided to take their relationship to a… new level. No strings attached was their relationship status. Friends with benefits. Best friends who just liked to have a good time together. Noelle’s friends always tell her that she is crazy and that she’s just going to be heart broken in the end when Adam eventually settles down, but she doesn’t care.
Her and Adam made a deal that when one of them was in a relationship, their FWB relationship would halt to prevent problems with one of their significant others. Noelle knew that if Adam settled down, she would be happy for him because she knew he would be happy for her.

And I remember your eyes were so bright, when I first met you, so in love that night.
Noelle reached onto her nightstand to halt the sound of her Beautiful Goodbye ringtone. She looked at her alarm clock and saw that it was already eleven o’clock A.M. She knew the ringtone by heart and knew exactly who would call at this time of day.
“Hello, Adam,” Noelle spoke into her iPhone after pressing the green answer button. She tossed her silk bed sheets aside and swung her legs around the edge of the bed while waiting from a response from the other end of the line.
“Hey Ellie,” Adam said, using his pet name for her that he came up with when they met. He felt Noelle was too classy for a girl of her nature.
“What do you want, Ad,” Noelle replied, using the name she had come up with for him. While she waited for his answer, she got up and moved across the white carpet to her pink vanity.
