Chapter 9

I named my kitty Biscuit
Nallie named hers Hazel
Dyl named his Cuddles
Jocy named hers Rose
Mase named his Blaze

We were playing with our animals, when all of a sudden we heard a noise, I went went to the back yard and guess who I saw, Ken that asshole. I ran outside and jumped on him, I started punching him like mad. I probably broke a rib. He brought this all on himself. Dyl came to check what was going on he totally lost it, in no time he was punching Ken. But then Ken punched Dyl right in the rib, I heard a crack.

I ran inside and I called the cops. They were on their way. When they got here they saw Dyl and Ken. They took me, Ken and Dyl to the Court. We agreed on going with. We need Ken gone. We told the court everything. Ken was found guilty and he was arrested.

We got home at about 2am. It was a school morning. So I decided to just sleep in my underwear. It was a really hot night anyway. At about 4am I was having nightmares, so I got up not caring how I was dressed and went to sleep with Dyl.

Dylans POV

I woke up and saw Ash sleeping next to me. I got out of bed and went to shower. I wore my jeans, white top and a white hoodie. Since when does Ash get nightmares, she hardly ever gets them. All of a sudden I got this sharp pain in my stomach. I realised that Ken must of broke one of my ribs when he punched me. It was so sore, I fell to the ground.

Ashlynns POV

I woke up and saw Dyl lying on the floor holding his stomach, he was trying not to cry. I jumped out of bed and ran to him.

"Are you ok, Dyl."

"No. Just go and call Nallie"

"Ok."

I ran to Nallies room and called her. She was mad at me for waking her up.

"Come to Dyls room now."

"Why."

"Just come."

She came running with me to Dyls room. She saw him and ran straight to him.

"You ok Dyl?" She asked

"No. Can you guys help me up, and don't tell mom about this."

"Ok."

We helped him up and he limped his way downstairs.

"Dyl." I said

"Yea."

"Why don't you want mom to know."

"She will kill me."

We ate breakfast, said goodbye to mom and took the bus. We were early for once.

We got to school and walked inside, well Dyl limped all the way. I went to pack my locker, I only took my books for my first two periods which was history with Nallie and Geography with Dyl and Harry.

Its now lunch, we got our lunch and went to our table where we sat with Scarlet, Sandy, Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall. The boys are Harrys brothers. Yea, I know they are all super hot.

We ate our lunch and got up, Dyl, Nallie and I were walking to Maths, all of a sudden Dyl fell to the groung clutching his ribs which were probably broken. I suggested that we went to the school nurse, but he refused. I said we had to, so I have told Nallie to stay with him. I ran to the bathroom and phoned Rosie

"Hey Rosie, come to NYA as soon as possible, we need you desperately."

"Why?"

"Its about Dyl."

"I am on my way."

I ran back to Dyl, I sat down on the ground next to him. I ran to Rosie and told her to follow me.

Rosies POV

I ran into the school but I did not know where to go. I spotted Ash running towards me.

"Follow me." She said

"Ok"

"Listen, you need to talk him into going to the nurses office, he won't listen to us."

"Ok."

We got to where Dyl was, I saw him lying on the floor, clutching his stomach, he looked like he was gonna cry.

"Dyl, what happened."

"Don't worry babe, I'm fine."

"No you not, you are going to the nurses office and thats final."

"No I am not."

"You are, whether you like it or not."

"I can't take the pain anymore." He said as he burst out into tears.

Nallie and I ran to the nurses office while Ash stayd with Dyl.

Ashlynns POV

I sat with Dyl while Rosie and Nallie went to get Mrs Goldstein our school nurse, he was literally in tears.
I saw the others running up the hallway with Mrs Goldstein. I stood up so they could see me. Mrs G asked me what had happened and I told her she must ask my brother. She helped us carry him the her office. She helped him, and said we had to call an ambulance since he might have broken his ribs.

The ambulance came and fetched us. Nallie, Rosie and I all went with. Mrs G called our mom and told her to go to the hospital.

We got to the hospital and they rushed Dyl into ICU. We asked if we could come with, they said yes. We sat next to Dyl and waited for the doctor. The doctor asked us to leave.

3hrs later
Well we have been waiting in the waiting room for 3hours no. Then we saw the doctor coming our way, he asked if he could speak to my mom alone. She got up and walked with him.
When she came back, she was crying. She told us to meet her at the cafe.  When we got to the cafe she spoke to us.
She said that the doctor said he was in a coma, they had to perform an emergency operation because the rib that broke pierced his lung, if they hadn't done that opp he would not have survived.

Dyls POV

I heard voices that sounded really familiar,  then I realized whose they were.

"Fuck, why did this have to happen to him." I heard Ash say.

"That retard better pay for this. " Nallie said.

"Dyl, you better explain." I heard mom say.

I remembered what had happened,  and why I was in here. I struggled to open my eyes and speak but I finally got it right. The doctor walked in and gave mom a pair of instructions. He saw that I was awake,  then he asked me how I was feeling, I said fine. Then he said that I can go home later today.

I left the hospital with that stupid tube up my nose. I was happy that I finally got to leave that place. I was booked off for the rest of the week.

We walked in the house and I went to go sit down with mom and the rest of the girls.

"So listen up you guys, starting with this weekend, you guys are going to go to your dad every second weekend."

"Ok."

"Jocy and Mase are coming back tomorrow. "

"Damn"

"Dyl, they are on school holiday so you will be babysitting since you are booked off."

"Shiz nitz"

"You can take the tube off, but when you struggle to breath you must put it back on immediately. "

After that we all ate supper and went to bed.
