I sprinted out into the night. I brought my compass and headed to Jasper, Nevada. My adopted mom was born there, so I always traveled there. It was going to be a long journey though because I am in California and I need to get to Jasper. Its going to take at least 5 weeks.

I came up to my first campsite and changed into my pajamas. I fell asleep at midnight and woke up at 5 am. I heard a fight going on and followed the sound. There were two giant robots fighting each other.

One had my birthmark on his arm and the other had a saw, he was going to cut the other guy. I jumped up and side kicked the guy in his hip causing him to smash into the ground. I ran with my bag on my shoulders to the next town.

I realized I lost the red dude and slowed down halfway to the city. 'What in the pit was that?! More important who was the guy with my birthmark on his arm?' I stopped at a grocery store and bought some food for myself.

I seen a blue robot with one eye fighting a green one. 'Are you kidding me?!' This time I ran away not caring, I felt like I had to help that orange and white one and I don't know why. I soon came up to my next campsite.

I made a fire and cooked my meal, which consisted of patties and corn. Soon it was done and I ate, feeling tired after and considering its dark, I fell asleep.

When I woke up I was in a muscle car with no driver and my bag was next to me. I screamed and the car swerved. I grabbed my bag and jumped out, as soon as I was out I bolted for the forest. The car beeped in protest, but I ignored it and kept running.

"Where.........is.........my...........inhaler?", yep, you guessed it I have asthma.

After a long period of running and not enough rest, 10-15 hours max, I breath heavily. I found it, took 2 puffs, put it back in my bag, and continued my journey. I was determined to get to Jasper no matter how long it took.

I seen Rohde's orphanage and ran into the forest behind it. I didn't want another beating, nor did I want to go back. Even though I hate Rohde, seeing his orphanage was a good sign. It meant I was in Nevada.

If I went the other direction, I would have seen Charles's orphanage in SD. Then I would have been in trouble. Everyday Charles sends out one of the kids into the desert to search for any other kids and bring them back.

I came out of the forest about 10 miles away from Rohde and kept walking to Jasper. It grew cold and dark so I stopped and set up camp. Tonight I was having a Chicken wing. I winced and looked at my back.

My wounds opened up again and the bandage fell off. The doctor stitched the gashes closed, but those were opened too. I whined, tonight I had to sleep on my stomach. After I ate I crawled onto my blanket and fell asleep.

*She has been running for 5 weeks straight now*

When I woke up the next morning, nothing was out of the ordinary and I wasn't in any cars. I did however feel like someone was stalking me. I grabbed my stuff and ran, I didn't want to find out who it was.

I eventually ran into a woman.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry. I didn't see you.", I mentally cursed myself for running into her.

"Its alright. I want watching my step either. I'm June Darby, a nurse at the hospital here in Jasper. What's your name?", well, she is a nurse so maybe she is trustworthy.

"Beckie May Paxton."

"Well, Beckie where did you come from? I haven't seen you around here and Jasper is a small town."

"I ran here from California. I lived in an orphanage and the owner was mean. On my way here I seen some giant robots fighting."

"You need to come with me.", her face was stern and her voice sounded like there was no room for an argument, so I complied and got in her car.

"Where are we going?", I started rubbing my gloves because my hand itches around my mark and I don't want to take them off.

"To a military base. What's with the gloves and the mask?", I wish she hadn't asked, but since she did I might as well tell the truth.

"I am hiding my birthmark, I don't really like showing people anything like that. I wear my mask because it hides my face from those I cant trust, my adopted mom gave it to me before she died. I don't know where my dad is, he disappeared after he brought me to the orphanage."

"Well you can most definitely trust me and I am sorry for your loss.", she looked concerned.

I started taking off the gloves and showed my birthmark to her. When she asked me to take off my mask, I hesitated but took it off.

"I hide this mark because it has something to do with my dad, my biological dad.", I looked at her and she stared at my face in 'awe'.

"You shouldn't hide your face, your a beautiful girl. As for your mark and your dad, I think I have an idea who it is. Hang on a second.", she picked up her phone and dialed a number, "Ratchet it's me. Can you open the doors? I have that girl you seen four weeks ago, she has your symbol on her hand."

We were heading into a rock and June hung up. She accelerated her speed a tad and we ended up in a giant secret gov. base. In front of us stood 3 humans and 5 robots. I stared in amazement.
