"Je suis tellement désolé manque. Il ne se reproduira pas"
"J'étais en retard, mais vous avez à se précipiter dans le temps pour le spectacle"
"Oui, oui manquer"
Buzz, buzz, buzz. It's too early to get up today, but I have no choice. I have to go to Chris' house to finish the little project we have to do. My dad said he'll drive me at nine. I got up, got ready, and got in the car. It took me about ten minutes for me to realize, that its 8:37. I went inside to grab some breakfast. Before I was in the kitchen, I heard my sister yelling. "But I want grape not strawberry jelly!" I decided it wasn't the right time to time to go in the kitchen. I'll just not eat breakfast. I went back to the car. Five minutes later a angry Jenny and a tired dad came out to the car. We left a couple minutes later.
My dad dropped me off. I walked up the driveway and knocked on the door. Luke opened the door.
"What did I tell you"
"Are you always at Chris' house"
"I guess you can call it home"
I rolled my eyes and walked inside. There Chris was sitting at the table eating cereal. He got up and put his cereal away. Then he grabbed the project. While he was doing that I just stood there. So did Luke. We were just standing there for a couple of minutes. We said nothing and did nothing. We just stood there. Once Chris came in Luke left.
We finished the project within an hour. I took some of there blueberries. That's what you do when you're hungry. After I finished the blueberries, I went to somewhere private to call my dad. Unfortunately, he can't come for another hour. Apparently Jenny having another problem. Wonder what it is this time, her Barbie doll lost one of her dresses. Or maybe she wanted to paint her nails but didn't have the color she wanted. Either way I'm stuck at Chris' house for another hour. What fun can this be.
I got off the phone and went to tell Mrs. Jones the situation. She was fine with it. She told me I can go outside and play with the boys. Not wanting to ask for anything more, I went outside. I saw Luke and Chris playing one-on-one basketball. "Hey, can I play?" I asked so timidly that I thought they didn't hear me. Eventually Luke passed me the ball. "Two-on-one me and Mandy vs you." Luke said. Great, an hour of basketball. I could be practicing, stretching, studying, or really anything else in the world, but I'm stuck playing basketball.
We ended up creaming Chris 32-9. It was more fun than I thought. I also did quite well. I made about ten baskets. More that Chris did the whole game. Before I left I heard Luke came real close and whispered something to me,"You should try-out." Staying close to Luke I whispered back to him, "I don't want to take someone's spot who really wants it." I walked to my dad's car before he could respond.
