Chapter:6 Sounds like a date

LINDA'S POV

I was super exited wen I received a txt back from jake telling me to meet up at the airport. I was not so sure of why I was so eager in meeting jake but I did. I have been sleeping this day so I thought I would go out for some shopping. Ahh yes I love shopping.....girls always do right?? Then I texted Kim to be at the mall at 7.00 pm. Yeah it's pretty late. But it's never too late for a shopping. I got out of my comforter stepped into the shower. I felt like a big weight is removed off my head as hot water splashes all over me. I quickly shampood my hair and rinsed it off with slightly cold water. I came out of the room with just a skimpy towel tied around my body. I quickly grabbed a pair of denim shorts and a white tube top. I went down to the living room after 10 mins and bid a bye to my dad n went to the mall. The mall is just a fews minutes ride from home. Kim was already there waiting for me so we decided to hit Victoria's secret house first but before that hunger hit us.

We entered a Chinese restaurant and took a table near the fountain area. Seconds after we took our seats our order was taken by a woman who was in her mid 30s with a polite smile on her face which was surprisingly not a fake one that we get usually.

"Why is my sweetheart so happy today huh?" Kim asked me out of nowhere as my body tenses up a bit.

"Nothing.....just thought of shopping with my dear stupid girl after a really long time." I said dreaming.

"Oh......really??? I thought you were thinking about........someone....?" Which was more like a questions.

"Huh????? N who is that someone??" I asked her with a slight glint in my eyes so as to who she was referring to.

"Hmm....let me guess" she said as though she was thinking seriously. " Is he......Fed??"

A small smile crept at the corner of my mouth as I heard his name. "Him?? well great guess. I too wish I was thinking about him. But unfortunately my creepy friend named Kim was occupying my mind" I said making her laugh with me.

"But seriously Lyn.... I think he likes you" she said just then our food arrives.

"Who??Fed?" I asked her casually and she just shrugged.

"Yeah... I mean he is always with you and you guys have gone on some dates lately. I'm sure like hell he has some feelings for you more than you think. Because the way he looks you and his nervousness....."

"Ohh ohh ohh.... I'm sure Jas would get jelous if he sees you describing a guy like this" I said laughing at her but then she just rolled her eyes. But seriously I too think he do loves me ......... like I do. But it's just that I really didn't want to confess this to him because if he does not love be back then... that would spoil our.......can I say friendship? Yeah that should go well. I was in my own world when I my phone buzzed. I immediately took the call not cared to look who was it.

"Hello."

"Linda?"

"Yeah who is this?"

"Um...Lini this is Fed."

My eyes widened in surprise. I mean I didn't expect his call. Not when we were actually talking about him. Does he have a microphone or something? Of course not. Duh.

"Lini....you there?"

" ohh hi Fed. I'm sorry I just didn't see the caller Id. So what's up? "

" Um nothing really" there was silence for a few seconds before he continued "can we meet up tomorrow? I mean if you are free...."

Without a second thought I said yes.

"Sure fed...what time??"

"Eight in the morning would be great."
