Sal, Sev and Shika.

New Year

"Sal? Sev? Shika? Where are you all?" Chop shouted for her relatives.
They were playing at the back of the house when the trios disappear after the eldest, Chop suggested about playing another game.

"Have you found them yet, Chop?" Soup asked his sister.
"No..." she replied.
"Let's go into the house and search for them..." Soup said and dragged his sister indoors.

They look around the kitchen and saw no one except Goto. He was making some hot chocolate for Aika, who was feeling rather under the weather. Both of the kids asked if he saw the trios, but he said he didn't.

Soup asked if Goto could help them search for the trio and in the end he agreed to it, after giving Aika the hot chocolate.

In detective mode, Goto started asking the two youngsters where and when did they last saw them. They both answered his questions smoothly and by what reason, Goto looked up for a moment. He saw little Shika walking away, and he let's his nephew and niece know.

The three tried to follow where Shika was heading but, the weird chicken stopped them in their tracks.

"Ack! It's Karaage!" Soup shouted.
"Uncle Goto, Karaage is blocking the way!" Chop complains.

He hears the two kids shouting and tries not to lose his cool, since he was dealing with that weird pet chicken of Shika's.

"Kids, can you stand back a little?" Goto asked as he walks towards Karaage.
The chicken noticed it and starts flapping her wings around, she even started to make a lot of noise.

"Karaage, where are the trio?" Goto asked the chicken and puts his hands in front of him, in case the chicken wanted to attack him, which happened not long ago...

The chicken clucked loudly and did a dance before her owner shouted for her, "Karaage!!!!!!".

Karaage quickly dashed off to find her owner while the two kids follow suit. Goto was even glad that he didn't have to search for them later.

"Sal! Sev! Shika!! Where are you?!" Soup shouted as he turns into the room where Karaage ran into.
"Soup! Look! There they are!" Chop shouted as she readjusted her glasses.

The trio was in the living room with the other grown ups, helping with the decorations. The two siblings were scratching their heads, wondering what was happening.

"What are you three doing?" Soup asked.
"We're helping the grown ups to decorate~" Sev replied.
"Dekoraaaaiiiiiiiit!!!!!" Shika repeated.
"Cool! Can we help too?" Chop asked, and Sev brought her over to Kana.
"Meh, another free help..." Sal whispers, all he wanted was to play but he was dragged by Kana to help her with the decorations.

The kids was busy with their little work, while the other grown ups did the lightings and the hanging up the rest. The only people who were missing was, Shiki, Eduardo, Ishigami, Issei, Katsuragi and Ryoichi, who were still at work.

"We shall make this household ready for the New Year!!!!!!" Kana says while putting her hands on her hips.
"And made us do all the work..." Sal whispers.
"What did you say, little brother of mine?" Kana heard and gave him her evil smirk.
"Nothing..." he replies and stood behind his twin brother.

As time flies by, it was already night time.
Ryoichi and Issei was the first to came back.
Second was Katsuragi.
The last was the infamous three, Shiki, Eduardo and Ishigami.

Ishigami was the one who drove, Eduardo was... let's just say, that he doesn't like to drive.
Shiki walked into the house, with a big box of macaroons and cupcakes for the family.
While the two guys were carrying bags of gifts.

"I thought Christmas has passed?" Subaru smirked at Ishigami.
"It wasn't my idea..." he replied and tossed the bag to him.
"Ed, what's all of these?" Nathan, who is a part of the family now, asked.
"It was her idea..." Eduardo replied.
"See that, Ishigami? At least he doesn't throw a bag at him..." Subaru snickered.
"Katsuragi, get a leash on him..." Ishigami called for Katsuragi across the room.
"Nooooooooooooo~~~~~~~~" Kana shouted and clings onto Subaru.

Shiki quickly passed them their little gifts, and praised them for the great decorations. However, Karaage was sitting on the chair where Eduardo always sits on.

He gave the chicken a death glare before he gave in into Shika's smile.
"That little demon..." Eduardo whispers and Shiki elbowed him on the sides.
"I swear that she took up your brother's personality..." Eduardo whispers again and laughed at Shiki when she stares at him.

As the night progresses, it was the only night where the kids were allowed to stay up.
They started the countdown, and....

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!" they greeted while popping the poppers that's in their hands.

The kids were eventually running around, picking up the confetti on the floor and throwing it up again.

But then again...
Little Shika was fast asleep, even with her noisy family surrounding her.
Shiki saw Karaage guarding her, so she took the opportunity to picked her child up. She placed her into her little bed that's next to her brother's and tucked her in.

"Goodnight, little sweetie. And, Happy Nee Year..." Shiki whispers before giving her daughter a kiss on her head, as she closes the door behind her, leaving Shika to have a nice dream.
