Opposites Attract

   "Allie!!! You're so bad talaga. Iniwan mo ako sa tapat ng parking lot! Akala ko ba, walang iwanan???"  Sabi ni Chandria sa akin.

   I rolled my eyes,   "Ikaw kasi eh, nagpacute kapa sa yung John na yun. Eeesh."

   "Okay fine. Let's go?"  Tanong ni Chandria sa akin while she wore her sunglasses.

   "Leggo."  Ngumiti ako at pumasok na kaming dalawa sa hall.

   "Pare, si... A-Alyssa ba yan? Yung nerd?"

   "Holy sh-t. Yan? Si Alyssa?"

   "Impossible. Straight yung buhok ni Alyssa, naka-suot ng malaking glasses, at hindi siya mahilig magsuot ng ganyan na damit."

   I smiled at myself, totally pleased. Chandria pala is my bestfriend from the other school. She knows about everything and she's in for it.

   "Chands, I have to go. Hindi tayo classmates. I'll see you nalang later. Okay?"  Sabi ko sa kanya.

   Tumango siya at umalis.

Psh. If I only knew, pupunta yan sa John na yun. Tss...

   Pumasok ako sa classroom at umupo sa front row.

After 10 minutes that seemed like forever, dumating na yung teacher namin.

   "Good morning class, welcome to School Year 2012-2013."  Sabi nung teacher. I could tell she's new here kasi I never saw her before,  "Why don't we start the day by introducing yourselves?"

   I smiled.

   I guess you don't want to hear my other classmates' names so let's skip it.

   Kevin Monteclaro was next.

   "Hi... my name is Kevin Monteclaro."  He scanned his surroundings at biglang ng freeze yung face niya when his eyes met mine.

   Wait. Why do I have a feeling that he isn't... the Kevin I knew(?)

   He quickly averted his gaze at tinoluy yung pagsalita niya,  "15 years old. Uh..."

   Pinutol ng teacher ang sinabi niya. Tagal kasi mapag-isip,  "Okay! Very well said Mr. Monteclaro. Who wants to go next?"

   I raised my hand, at tumango yung teacher.

   Pumunta ako sa harapan at nagsalita,  "Good morning everyone.! My name is Alyssa Bautisa."

   Narinig ko yung gasps ng mga classmates ko and they slowly turned their heads towards Kevin.

   The teacher clapped once,  "Class..! Stop being rude, face front everyone."

   They all faced front pero takot na ang kanilang tingin sa akin.

Ngumiti ako,  "Anyway, I guess most of you know me already... and yeah, it's good to be back with a new personality."  Tinignan ko si Kevin,  "How's life Mr. Monteclaro? Miss me?"
