Sophie's point of view

Listening to music as I'm Walking along the streets to the diner I work at, it's currently 5pm and I don't finish until later tonight, so I'll have to walk home in the dark, as usual.

I finally arrive at my work and am greeted by my boss. We are actually pretty close, she's like a motherly figure to me.
"Hey Hun, how are you?" Grace asks.
"Im fine thanks." I smile politely.
"You've got 2 tables at your section." She tells me as I'm putting my apron on. I just nod and go serve them.

Finally finished work and I feel so relieved. Today a man came in and was making me feel quite uncomfortable, he was just constantly touching me, not in a rude way, just having his hand on my shoulders or having an arm around my waist.
I guess I've just never been a fan of contact except when it came to my best friend Bailey, we've been friends since I was put into an adoption centre, which is basically when I was born, I was told i was dropped off in a basket out the front and I was only about 2 weeks old? I  don't know Honestly.
I snap out of my thoughts when  realise I'm outside my apartment, walking into the lobby I see its empty, I just casually walk into the elevator and push the button to the level of my apartment. Which is level 3 if you were wondering.
Reaching my floor, I unlock my door and set my bag on the bench if my apartment. Being at the age of 18 the place I lived at couldn't have me living there anymore because I was now an adult. That was almost a year ago, its now the 7th of May and my birthday is tomorrow and I don't feel excited about it at all. To me a birthday is like another day.
I Walk into my room, change, brush my teeth and I collapse onto my bed falling asleep immediately.
