“You’re a fucking dick you know that?” I shove John into the nurse’s office and look at his bloody face.

“Dude, she wanted it. It may have gotten out of hand but come on. You can’t say yes, yes, yes then all of a sudden no. How the hell does that make sense?” He had a point, but I gave him no sympathy.

“I’m going to run down what just happened to the office. And pray to god you get in deep shit in some way shape or form. That’s what makes sense. We may be okay with each other, but now I hope you get everything you deserve. And that’s shit. Have a good day.” And I shut the door and walked away.

I run to the office and tell them everything that happened. And while the counselor Charlie Angled it to Stella, the principle waddled as fast as he could to the nurse’s room before John was let lose. I sighed and turned around. This year has officially sucked. This has been the most exciting thing to happen all day, and it’s a negative thing. Shame. I’d go check on Stella but John did have a point, she wanted it. And it may have gotten way to rough and disrespectful but she’s strong and with Jake and the counselor she’ll be up and running in no time. Back to square one and getting with everyone. Maybe just stronger guys this time.

I see a blond head up ahead turn a corner and I practically broke out into a huge grin and sprinted. Kirsten. Lately she’s been pretty quiet but in class we talk a bit and she sometimes says hi to me in the halls. I never see her leave school to ask if she needs a ride but it’s probably for the better, don’t want to scare her.

As I catch up I make it look casual and go to a random locker and lean on it.

“Hey stranger.” She turns in the empty hallway and see’s it’s me. She blushes for a second then looks around and gives me a look like “who, me?” I swallow a laugh and walk up to her.

“Where you heading too.” She smiles at me and looks down. I let my eyes travel. Her blonde hair is all straight today and she bumped it. She had some sort of loose white shirt on with black jeans and white heeled shoes. Even in heels she’s short compared to me. How cute. White was definitely her color, as gay as it sounds.

“Oh, home. I have a load of homework and extra-credit work I need to get on before it doesn’t count. Why are you still here?” She says sounding a little dazed.

“I was with Jake earlier because football practice just let out. We were about to go home but something came up.” I kind of laughed and ran my hand threw my wet hair. My gray shirt was clinging to me and you could see the spots where I didn’t try completely. I probably looked like a drowned rat to her.

“So anyways, do you need a ride? Jake has been bringing his car everyday lately so I don’t need to carpool anymore or anything. But if you don’t want one that’s cool too. Whatever works.” I rushed on not so smoothly. Her face broke out into a smile.

            “You’re nervous.” Shit.
