"Hey Ron!" The excited and sweet voice of the little girl alerted his ears. He spotted her sitting on bed in Indian style.

Though her face was tired, mushy and she looked looked sleep induced cause of exhaustion still she tried to keep a smiling face.

He smiled at her while entering the room and finding her wide awake at almost ten in the evening. Apparently she already had dinner and was sleeping early today because she had a huge day tomorrow. At least that's what Aisha said. He made himself comfortable on her small princess bed.

"Hey bud, you didn't sleep yet?" He asked her concerned and then his attention shifted to the huge sticker on one of the walls.

As his gaze wandered around the room he resisted to let out  a sigh. It was such a typical kids room, especially a girl room with lot of princess stickers surrounding it.

The walls were painted bright pink on one side and dark violet on other and a white dressing table with violet drawer handles and mirror sticker was placed at corner of room. The curtains were a mix of white and violet adorning the huge window beside her bed. The queen sized puffy soft bed was placed in the centre of room with the white mattress and pink polka dots on it. Seriously Drisha was too much into pink and violet. Her obsession with the violet and pink, two contrasting colours amazed him. He couldn't understand which theme should he associate the room with.

"What is with your face?" She asked him curiously, narrowing her eyes at him.

"Nothing. I just came to tell you that we are going to New York for long time. You have to go school there. Are you okay with it?" He asked his voice hopeful.

"Of course. Yay! I love new places." She squealed with excitement.

His tension disappeared seeing her excited face and a ghost smile appeared on his face. Seeing her in a happy mood always made him happy.

"That's the spirit. We will leave in three days, yeah? So help your mum with packing and also pack your own bag tomorrow." He said to which he noticed she faked a yawn and rubbed her eyes.

"I'm feeling sleepy. Good night."

He wanted to laugh and call out her drama but then he heard the footsteps approaching towards the room. He knew that it might be Aisha as she told him she'll come along with him to check on her daughter.

"Dhrisha you didn't sleep yet?" Aisha asked as she entered the room, placing her hands on her hip and directed a glare in her direction.

"I was sleeping but Ron woke me up." Drisha accusingly pointed her finger at Ron to which he looked at her with widened eyes.

"Ron! You told you would just check on her." Aisha exclaimed actually believing her.

Drisha giggled at her mother's expression.

"Aisha, this minx is lying. She was not at all sleeping."

Aisha glared at her daughter for lying. Drisha not in mood for her mother's yelling quickly lied down and pulled her covers and shut her eyes.

"Now you are sleepy huh?!" Ron teased.

"Of course I am. Goodnight mum. Goodnight Ron. Love you."
