Summer Loving

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

iPods POV

"Just a few more minutes iPod. You'll be ok. You'll survive." I thought to myself.

I kept checking the clock.

"Come on 3 o'clock... Just happen already!"

Why do I keep looking at the clock?

Because it's the last day of school, and I want to get out of here. NOW.

School has always been boring to me.

I looked over at my friend Basketball, who was on the other side of the room, talking with his other friends.

I sighed, wishing I had someone to talk with.

I looked at the clock again, and there's only two minutes left.

"God, why can't the bell just ring now?" I thought, bored out of my life.

I was daydreaming when I felt a piece of paper hit the back of my head.

I turned around to see Lighter, the schools bully. He was the one who threw it at me.

Scoffing, I checked the clock again-30 SECONDS!!!!

Everyone else was chatting away in the room, while I just kept looking at the clock.

10.....9.......8.....7.....6......

Finally this is it! The moment I have been waiting for!

5.....4.....3.....2....1!

The bell rang, and I threw on my backpack and ran out of the school.

"IM FREE!!!!!!!" I shouted as I ran outside.

Finally! Summers here!

I was just about to leave, but I forgot.

I had to wait for my best friend Mirror.

We were going to walk her to her house first, and then we were going over my house to go in my pool.

Mirror is one of my best friends. We've been best friends ever since kindergarten! We're in 9th- well 10th grade now!

"Hey iPod!" I heard her say.
"Hey Mirror!" I said back, smiling. "Are you ready to go in my pool?"
"Heck yeah!" She said, smiling. "I missed your pool a lot!"
"So did I." I said. It's true. I missed being in my pool.

We were about to walk away when we heard someone say, "iPod! Mirror! Like, wait up!"

We turned around and saw Bucket and Volleyball, two friends of ours.

"Hey! So me and Volleyball are having like, a First Day of Summer party at like, Volleyballs house. And we were wondering if you could, like, come." Bucket said.

I looked at Mirror and she looked at me.

"Sure! We'll be there!" Mirror said.

They both smiled. "Like, great! Be there at, like, 7, and make sure you bring, like, a bathing suit, because we're going, like night swimming." Volleyball said.

"Ok! Bye!" I said, walking away.

They smiled and walked away.

Me and Mirror continued walking.

"I can't believe it's finally summer!" I said, smiling.
"Me neither! It feels great!" She said, smiling back. "Now we can go swimming, go to the beach, eat ice cream outside, go on road trips, and so many more!"
