Summer Loving

First Day of Summer Party!

iPods POV

I was in my bathroom with Mirror, me and her trying to get the ice cream off of our faces.

"Ugh, now my face is all sticky." She said, while laughing.
"Same here." I said, laughing too.

After I got the ice cream off my face, I left Mirror in the bathroom to change her clothes.

I wore black shorts, a light blue shirt, and my slides with long light blue socks.

As you can see, my favorite color is light blue.

Mirror came out wearing jean shorts, a grey tank top, and her grey flip flops. She also left her hair her natural, wavy hair.

"Wow" I thought. "She looks so pretty..."

Wait what?! Did I just call my best friend pretty?

What's going on with me?

Then it hit me.

Was I falling for Mirror?

I will admit that she is very pretty, kind, and fun- everything about her is great.

And her big, beautiful brown eyes... I could stare at them all day.

I think I'm in love with Mirror...

But, she probably sees us as friends, and just friends.

"Are you guys ready?" My mom called out.
"Yeah we're ready!" I said back.

I lead Mirror out of the house and to my moms car.

I opened the back seat door for her.

She looked at me, smiling. "Thank you iPod."
I smiled. "Your welcome, Mirror."

Then we drove off to Volleyballs house.

When we got to her giant house, we were greeted by our many friends.

"Omg, yay! You guys, like, made it!" Volleyball said.
"Yeah!" Mirror said.
"Well, there's like, punch and, like food over at that table right there. Help, like, yourself." She said, smiling and walking away.

"OH! And, like, by the way, the karaoke machine is gonna, like, be out soon." She called back, while walking away.

I saw Mirror hugging all of her friends and took pictures with all of them.

I smiled, and saw Basketball.

"Hey, Basketball." I said.
"Hey!" He said back.

He had a big, stupid grin on his face, and to be honest, it looked kind of creepy.

"What's with the creepy smile?" I asked.
"Oh nothing, it's just, Volleyball looks REALLY good tonight." He said dreamily.

I laughed a tiny bit. Basketball has a HUGE crush on Volleyball, but he never got the courage to ask her out.

"Are you gonna ask her out tonight?" I asked.
He looked at me. "Oh no, not tonight." He said, "I wanna do it when both of us are alone."

I laughed. "It must be hard when your in love."
"Yeah, your lucky your not in love." He said, laughing.

I blushed. "Well, maybe I am in love..." I said.

Basketball looked at me. "OMG REALLY? Who's the girl?" He asked.

"I, um, maybe have a crush on Mirror..." I said, my entire face turning red.
"Awwww." Basketball said, smiling.
I shoved him. "Shut up."
"Nah." He said. "It's cute."(BASKETBALL IS TURNING INTO A FANGIRL LIKE THE REST OF US RUN BASKETBALL BEFORE ITS TOO LATE😂)
