The next day, Regina woke up to a massive headache, she felt like she had been hit by a bus. She inhaled deeply, sat up and slowly made her way downstairs. As soon as she reached the kitchen, her feet stopped and her eyes finally focused. She opened her cupboard door and searched for anything that would calm the banging in her head. She found some pain killers, popped both tablets in her mouth and chased it down with some water. Once she finished the glass, she placed it in the sink and started her usual routine. Have a shower, get dressed put on her brave face and pick up her daily coffee and breakfast from Granny's Diner. On her way there, she started to remember the details of the night before. Emma appeared to her, in her bedroom of all places. Emma didn't speak but her energy proved her presence in the room. She decided that she wasn't going to tell anyone about last night and how different Emma looked. After all it was probably just her imagination. She set off to go see the two idiots and the pirate, hopefully they have some ideas, but she highly doubts it.

"What if we...." Suggested Mary Margaret
"No that won't work" Interrupted Regina
"You didn't let me finish"
"I didn't have to, I already know what ever you have to say is a waste of time" Mary Margaret simply rolled her eyes.
"I don't see you coming up with any better ideas"
"I'm working on it" huffed Regina.

Mary Margaret paced back and forth, her hand on her chin and her brow furrowed. She was deep in thought and so was Regina. She couldn't get the thought of the new Dark One out of her head. With each passing thought, Regina became more sure that last night was real. That, that was the new and improved Emma Swan, the most powerful Dark One to ever be created.

Why would she come to me? Why not her parents or her stupid boyfriend? Why am I stuck with the burden?

Regina was so lost in thought that she didn't hear Hook's question. Everyone was staring at her, eyes locked on, eagerly waiting for a reply.

"What?" Snarled Regina
"Do you know of any ancient spells that would call her here?" Hook said slowly
"No, and if I did, don't you think I would have used it by now?" Scoffed Regina
"Well I don't know, but you're the one with the most experience in this area"
"That may be true but that doesn't mean I have all the answers" said Regina smoothly
"Or you're just hiding them from us"
"Excuse me? Why would I do that?"
"You are the Evil Queen after all" A look of disgust formed on Regina's face
"Former Evil Queen, and let's not forget what you are Hook, a liar and a crook"
"Well from what I hear, you like those sorts of men"
"Don't push me guy liner" growled Regina. A smirk grew on Killian's face, as if to say he has already won this fight.
"Oh come on, don't act like you aren't loving this"
"Im sorry, I have better things to do like finding your girlfriend" Regina said through gritted teeth.

Hook opened his mouth to say something, when Mary Margaret stepped in.

"That is enough, you two are arguing like children. Can we please just focus on the topic at hand?" Sighed Mary Margaret
"If it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have to find her" Killian said under his breath
"What did you just say pirate?"
"You heard me" Killian took a step forward. Mary Margaret rolled her eyes and sat back down in her chair, giving the two room to show one another who's boss. David placed his hand on her shoulder and gave her a gentle smile.
"How dare you, you pathetic excuse for a man, I can show you a world of pain, you have yet to experience. Did you think I wanted Emma to sacrifice herself? I was the one trying to save Emma, protecting her from the darkness. While you just stood there and watched from a distance, with your jaw on the floor. I didn't see you trying to save her, what a great boyfriend you are" Regina leered at Hook. Her eyes turning a shade darker.

How dare he accuse me of not caring. Who the hell does he think he is?

Mary Margaret looked between the two, wondering how far this little fight will go. She looked over at Regina and saw her squeezing her fists tightly, making them turn white. Mary Margaret followed the arms up until she focused on Regina's face. This was not the face of a newly redeemed woman, this was the face of an angry, queen Regina. Mary Margaret tried to move closer to Regina but it was too late, Regina was already holding Killian by the throat, lifting him above the ground. A wicked smirk appeared on Regina's face, like the one Emma wore the night before.
