His Last Words

Chapter 2

(Jen's pov)
I was shocked on what rhett mumbled.
I knew link was a boss like image but it seems like lately that Rhett Is bullied by link not physically but emotionally.

My phone rang and it was Jessie
Hey Jen
Hi
Is Rhett okay he never came home
He fell asleep at the studio
Ok
There is something I need to tell you
Okay
We are now at the emergency room because I tryed to wake him and he won't respond and he just woke up.
I'm coming now
There is something else
Yea
He was saying things and he said things about link twisting his words and blaming him for everything that went wrong and link calling him names.
Do you think he will feel guilty when he finds out where Rhett is
I think he will

(Jessie is in the emergency room with Jen)
This is the normal time link will be at the studio
Let's make him realize what he done
He is texting
What is he saying
(Text conversation)
Where are you?
Rhett can't talk right now
Why?
He's busy
What is he doing
In a hospital bed waking up
What happened
He passed out when he was conscious he was saying your name over and over again
He don't remember anything

(Link comes )
It made me nervous when Link came Rhett don't remember anyone but when he saw link he started to go crazy and scream.
Link just sat down and Rhett went even more crazy.
Link felt rejected and I wondered why he didn't second guess himself but I guess I was right on my prediction he did feel bad and he was quiet for a while and we told him to let Rhett warm up to him.

About two hours later link was leaving and Rhett said no.
He stayed with him and I was right and link looked at me and smilied.
The room filled with something different then Rhett blacked out again.

This time it was quicker that made me have more fear.
Rhett came to a few minutes later and my worries subsided.
The room was silent and link left.

Rhett woke up after he left and he was fine not worrying about where link was.
He was discharged earlier.

We got home earlier and link called me and asked if Rhett was home and I replied with yes but you have to rebuild his trust.
He replied with a okay but I knew it was fake I could just hear it in his voice.

I was panicking a bit because we got him on medication to stop the fainting and it worked.
We have to film today and i told link to stay on the script.

We filmed and it went well and Jessie went back to New York and I went back home and Rhett did too.

(Stevie's pov)
Jessie went back to New York and I knew link wanted it to look normal again and when she left go back to his old ways and this time I knew it would be more physical.

(Next day)
Hey guys
Hey Stevie
Hey
Where did you get the black eye Rhett
I fell down hard last night
Rhett we need to get some powder on that eye of yours
Okay Stevie

(Rhett and Stevie are in the washroom)
What happened last night
Link wanted to hang out last night and he hit me in the face and I ran home and locked all the doors and windows because I was Afraid
You had a rough week didn't you
Yup
That's not what you deserve
I know Stevie
He's starting to be hard on the crew members also
This isn't acceptable

How about we just let him learn his lesson and just let him see us suffer

How about we tell link we ran out of powder and we need to film

(They go back to where link was)
(Chase's pov)
We started filming and link hit me and kind of abused me again earlier and I'm not going out there because I know link is doing to hit me again.
Rhett is a good friend of mine and he wouldn't do anything to hurt me but link was the opposite he mission was to hurt me and told me to say something fell on me not that one of my bosses (my abusive boss to be correct) beat me up for no apparent reason or because he wanted to see me scarred.
I go in and sit on the side of the camera on Rhett's side.

(Rhett's pov)
I look to my left side and link says
Want me to give you another black eye
I felt fear take me over like my clothing eating me alive.
I went against my fear and said "no"
All I can remember him saying was
I'm gonna give you one anyway
I fainted for about five minutes and it was caught on camera.

(Chase's pov)
He fainted and I was speechless and I knew it was from fear that link caused him and I wondered why Rhett never told anyone I'm honestly clueless and I remember he told us the importance of having a journal and that's when I realized this man wrote in a journal because his best friend betrayed him and he felt comfort In his journal.

His journal wasn't locked it wasn't anything special but he hid it from link because he don't know what would happen if he found it.

We installed security cameras to help keep us safe and we installed them on the Gmm set and all the offices in the studio we did this so if things got really out of hand we got evidence that can be used so link can't cover himself with a lie and get out of it.

(Rhett's pov)
I'm a bit embarrassed about fainting on camera but I was convinced I wasn't going to be made fun of because link threatened me on camera and it doesn't look like a joke this time.
In my opinion link crossed the line and the crew think so too but I didn't see why I fainted so I went to the editor and asked him to see the footage to see when I fell and he showed it to me and I feared for our brand and business.

Stevie was furious because she asked link to please stay on the script and he thought he was the boss of the business and in reality I'm the one the crew trusts and link is the one they are scared of and I want them to like the work place and I don't want to be held down for links actions.

The crew don't deserve the pain that they suffered and I fell horrible for link's actions and I'm the one that buys them things to say sorry for link's actions.

I felt like i have been taken advantaged of because  i never have been bullied in my thirties and i thought I that bullying was behind me but i guess not anymore.

It seems like I'm trying to pick myself up piece by piece then link is tearing me apart again and again.
