Sneaking back inside the house, carefully closing the back door with only a silent click being followed, silently putting your keys on the counter-top while removing your heels . You tip-toe across the dark kitchen only for the lights to suddenly turn on.

Damn! Turning around you see Mikoto, your boyfriend who you've been with for 4 years now, leaning against the counter. His hand moved from the light switch, only to cross his arms on his chest.

Putting on your most innocent face, you batted your eyelashes and gave him a sweet smile.

"(Y/n). Do you know what time it is?" His voice was deep and cold.

"Uh, adventure time?" Maybe a bit of humor might lighten the fact that you came home at 3:35 AM.

Unfortunately with Mikoto, it didn't seem humor was going to change his mood about the situation. In fact, it probably made things worse. The glare in his eyes sent chills down your spine. You already were aware that this was going to end in a huge fight. But what  happened next had caught  you off guard. 

He.. He let out a chuckle?! What?! 

"What's so funny? I don't see anything funny about this situation. So before you decide on yelling at me, all i'm going to say is that I am not ashamed for being out so late nor, will I apologize." You crossed your arms with a bit of a frown on your face. You weren't going to let him confuse you.

This was just surprising. Who was this man before you? This guy certainly can't be Mikoto.  He left this smirk on his face as he straightened his posture to look at you.

"You know babe, I think you need a reality check. Apparently it seems you forgot who the boss is in this relationship is." He took a step closer towards you. 

"Excuse me? Boss? I am not some lower class minority you jerk!" Who was he to talk in such a way?

Totally ignoring your remark, he kept walking towards you until he stood right in front of you. Cornered, you tried not showing any fear or signs of weakness. You were going to prove to him that you would be able to stand up for yourself. 

"Go upstairs." His voice deep and cold. This demand infuriated you, so you refused.

"No."

"No? You wish to disobey me?" His voice let out as if amused.

"You're not the boss of me. You're not my father who could tell me to go to my room like i'm some little girl." 

"You act like one. Now go upstairs like a good princess and head to the bedroom."

Scoffing, you look away with your arms still across your chest. Usually Mikoto was a bit more civilized, but now this was just ridiculous.

"Fine, if that's how you want." 

Confused of what he meant, you suddenly feel an arm around your waist and up off the floor. He had threw you right over his shoulder and headed for the stairs.

"H-Hey! Put me down!" Hitting his back as he walked up the stairs, trying to stop him. Obviously it did nothing so you gave up with a heavy sigh. 

Mikoto opened the door to the bedroom and stepped inside. He used his left leg and shut the door behind him. He continued walking forward and laid you down on the bed.
