Caroline's POV

Two weeks. Two weeks till I see him again. My insides were constantly fluttering. Whether this was out of excitement, nerves or sadness, I don't know. All I know is that I've never wanted to see someone so much in my life. The only bad thing is that he was missing my birthday which is in two days. He promised me he would treat me when he got home though. I just can't wait to be able to spend a whole day with him again, I didn't even care if we stayed in all day. Just being with him would make it the best day ever.
I slowly wake myself up and stare at my phone. Realising the time, I jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. I needed to be at a meeting in half an hour! Quickly jumping in the shower, I wash my body then shampoo my hair. I switch off the water and grab a towel. I run to the mirror and blow dry my hair then stick it up into a ponytail, not having time to do anything with it. I then apply some basic make up to cover up the bags under my eyes from all the late nights I've been having recently. Reminding myself to go to sleep early tonight I throw the nearest clothes to me on and pray they somehow match.  I grab my keys and phone off the table and run out, not bothering to properly lock the door. With ten minutes to get there, I don't have any time to grab some breakfast so text my manager asking could she get me some food. Luckily, she's already there and is grabbing me a bacon butty and a coffee. Within five minutes I arrive so am in enough time to eat.
The meeting only lasts an hour because it was only confirming another contract with my agency and the goals I wish to make myself. The only thing I could think about throughout it all was him. My perfect best friend.

I pull up to my block of flats and jump out of the car, grabbing the McDonalds I went for on the way home. When I reach my flat, I open the door and get the surprise of my life.

Olly's POV

Five months I've waited for this moment. Her face in my mind all the time.
The door opened and she stood there. She was as perfect as I had remembered. Even though I had talked to her every day, I still longed for her. For her touch and her smile. Her laugh and even her cries. As she stood in front of me with her hair pulled up and barely any make up on, she is utterly perfect and there's no way I'd change her.
Her face is a picture and makes my insides tingle. There's tears running out of her eyes but I can tell she's over the moon. She runs towards me and jumps up, arms clinging on around my neck and legs wrapped around my waist.
"I thought you weren't back for two weeks?" She whispers in my ear.
"I got to leave early because all my meetings and interviews were over. I'm here for your birthday now" I reply, small giggles coming from the fragile women clinging onto me.
" I know, thank you for coming back!"
"I couldn't have stayed away any longer, I've missed you so much." I confess, slowly turning bright red.
"Me too" she replied, making my insides tingle.
