When you think of it, the world is a terrible place; murderers, sociopaths, robbers, and plenty other of bad people. All they live for is hurt, pain, and deceit; but why? Guess it'll be a while before anyone actually knows.

I felt a sharp jolt. "Yo, Haze!"
"What do you want Connor?"
"Dinners ready, c'mon!"
He jolted at my shoulder with his hand again. He's my younger brother. He always acts cheery to try to make me forget it, but it doesn't work and I bet he knows it. He's one of the few people who know I have it. No one else knows, not even my BestFriend, Carly. I will tell her soon, just, not now, oh my fuckin God, especially not now.

"Hazel, get your ass down here!"
I hate it when people say that. I, grudgingly, decided to go down.
"Comin'!"
I plopped my feet down stairs. Reaching the bottom, I could smell the beef and potatoes. On the table, my mom had placed celery at the center; my favorite, but that's only my favorite cause it helps my uh, brain, and er, thoughts, settle down and become less dramatic, though, no one knows why.

I began stuffing them in my face, hoping it would stop the current thoughts, well, at least the thoughts I had, though they were before the story began.
"Chill, Haze, leave some for the rest of us!"
He's a 'jokester', and it annoys the hell out of me, he flashed a smirk at me and I returned the thought by flashing him my favorite finger. Hey, the celery does work.

If I were to summarize myself for you, I'd say sarcastic and 'troubled' or as my brother says, 'thought crippled', oh my fuck he makes no sense. But hey, he makes me seem sane, so, it's fine. Have you ever thought about the world, how small it may seem. How small we must seem compared to the universe? How innocent, how helpless, how lonely we could be?

Yeah, it's confusing.
"Hey, Hazel? Earth to Hazel!"
"What?!"
"Just lettin' you know, Emily's comin over later."
"Hmm, ok, can't wait!" I said sarcastically.
Though I sounded sarcastic, I didn't mean it that way, I really do like it when Emily's here, she reminds me of the person I wish I could be, she's peppy, popular, pretty, the three p's, not to mention she's wealthy, generous, sweet, thoughtful, polite, and hilarious. If I could change my life to be someone else's, I would want it to be her's. Honestly, I'm glad my brother asked her out. I'm gladder that he said yeah.

I decided to help clean up afterwards, my brother may be terrible when it comes to being a sibling, but, in a relationship, he's committed, so I decided to help him make the impression he wants to make.

I heard a noise just as I was finishing, I decided to peer out of the window just across from the table to find a moving truck. Not only a moving truck, but two cars were trailing behind it, a silver minivan, and a Buick Cascada. Damn. Who's drivin that one? I stared at the Buick blankly, waiting to see who could be driving it.

Out of the car, climbed a boy who appeared around my age
He seemed to be muscular, and, based on all of the books he held, somewhat smart, at the least. Maybe he could be my next, f-f-f-friend. Maybe, er, hopefully, he could help me. I sure hope he can, seems like he has the capability.

I MEAN, UM, nothing, forget it. Shit!
