Staying Over: Forever

Lucy POV
I turned on my side and felt someone next to me. I opened my eyes and there so close to me with his eyes open was Natsu Dragneel.

"BAKA" I yelled. He looked at me with sad eyes.

"What's wrong" I asked

"Your Father died so he trusted your safety to us. So you are now staying with us until college." Natsu said sadly. I couldn't cry not one bit. I was sad believe me but, I couldn't manage to cry.

"Ok what room am I in" I asked sad and frustrated.

"Come on Follow me." Natsu said and dragged me to the end of the hall and opened the door for me. I started to cry as I remembered that today was my birthday and there sitting on my new bed was a while bunch of presents. I felt arms go around me, I turned to hug Natsu back.

"I'm sorry" He whispered to me.

"It is fine it wasn't your fault." I said as I stopped crying. As I looked around my new room I saw a bunch of suitcases which I'm guessing had all my clothes, pictures, and other things.

"Well I will leave you alone I will see you downstairs for breakfast in an hour" Natsu said

"Yeah" I replied and closed my door. I opened my the letter sitting on top of all my presents.

Dear Lucy,
I wrote this letter for when I died. I was shopping for you while you were at school yesterday and got all of these gifts for you. To make up for all of the gifts I didn't get you for Christmas and your birthday. I put you in the good hands of the Dragneels. PLEASE don't live the rest of your life mourning over my death like I did your mom. I was hoping we could start over. But as I see we can't.

Live life to the fullest. I hope you ate happy.

I sat in my room and cried. I stayed there all day and only went out to get food. I wish you were still here mom, dad.
