- Elsa
You were my best friend since kindergarten. We would play at recess and swap secrets. Then came middle school. I joined band and you made friends with the popular kids. I didn't see it at first but we were drifting apart. I joined cheer in seventh grade to try and mend our friendship. You didn't seem to notice. I used to talk to you everyday but now I'm lucky to talk to once a year. I still follow you on social media but you don't remember me. I try my hardest to not punch the wall when I see you with your other friend. It seems that you have just replaced me. It's not hard but it hurts. I found new friends through band and music but our friendship could never beat that.
